Take your pick: Kanji, who emphasizes one enemy attacks while backing them up with high level Zio magic, or Chie who emphasizes all enemy physical attacks with low level ice magic (Stops at Bufula) and Power Charge. Both are perfectly usable and can be substituted with each other. The only bad character is Naoto. wtf that is not Take-Mikazuchi.

Chie has a much higher magic stat than Kanji, so while Mabufu cannot compare with Maziodyne, it will do a sizable chunk in comparison to Kanji's Maziodyne for a fourth of the MP cost. Not to mention that Kanji only has magic for all enemy attacks, while Chie gets the powerful Agneyastra. Kanji's main hook is Primal Force, not his high level magic.

Primal Force kicks ass though and I have no idea what Agneyastra is. I'll be using both anyways. Right now it seems like the most expendable party member is Yosuke. <_<

Kanji doesn't get Power Charge while Chie does, along with the -inferior-but-still-good God's Hand. And Agneyastra is a high level all enemy attack.
And Yosuke is the best party member. I have no idea what you're talking about. >_>

Yosuke doesn't have any skills that really stand out outside of Dekaja. Otherwise it's basic stuff, his next skill is Tentarafoo which I never use, and I don't know what he gets after that.

Yosuke doesn't have any skills that really stand out outside of Dekaja. Otherwise it's basic stuff, his next skill is Tentarafoo which I never use, and I don't know what he gets after that.
Sukukaja, adds another element to the mix, great mage, good stats, decent for healing at the moment, learns Brave Blade, Masukukaja and Magarudyne. And Tentarafoo will save your life, moreso for people playing on Expert. >_> |
