Pop Culture Showdown Adamantium Cup: Killface vs. Mad Pierrot

You know how this goes. Vote for who you think would win in an all-out battle to the death.

Note that as this is a Who-Would-Win based tournament, it would be appreciated if you read and take part in the debate on tactics and fighting ability before voting; you can change your vote any time you want before the polls close. After the polls are closed, I will spend a day writing out a battle between the two combatants and post it in the next showdown topic, with the winner being decided by the winner of the poll. If you would like to suggest a location for the battle, feel free to do so.

If anyone feels like they absolutely have to write out a battle themselves, feel free to send me what you have in mind, and I'll probably enjoy the day off.

Killface



Killface: Frisky Dingo: A massively muscular supervillain bent on the destruction of the Earth, despite the frequent setbacks caused by his underlings. It was recently revealed that Killface himself is an alien sent to destroy mankind named Evilyn, explaining his lack of human social skills. Killface himself possesses a great degree of super-strength, claiming to be able to bench-press around 900 pounds. He also has superhuman healing abilities, allowing him to survive wounds that would kill a normal person, which includes having a hole blown clean through his chest. Killface also more than proficient at martial arts, weapons handling, and evil plotting. Whether he’ll destroy the world or run it, this villain’s evil intentions are as naked as he is.

Mad Pierrot



Mad Pierrot: Cowboy Bebop: A superhuman killing machine with the mind of a child. The Mad Pierrot Le Fou is a government created and insanely cheerful assassin who kills his targets and those who oppose him with a smile. Pierrot is armed to the teeth with a large cache of weaponry concealed between his coat, but his personal weapon of choice is his cane which can shoot his opponents from a distance, or be used as a weapon in close combat. Pierrot also has a number of unusual technologically granted abilities, such as a shield generator that blocks projectile attacks, such as bullets, along with the ability to hover across the ground, allowing him to enact feats of amazing agility. The Mad Pierrot is truly a master of assassination, and he enjoys his job to boot. That’s a rare gift these days.

Johnny Blaze looked over the crowds of screaming people, looking up at him as sat on his bike, high atop the 600 foot ramp. This was gonna be one for the record books. Blaze started his hog and revved the engine once or twice, causing the fans to scream in excitement. Johnny lowered his helmet visor and decided to get this show on the road, wheeling forward towards the steep incline. His bike was just over when a ball of fire devoured him, causing the bike and it’s rider to vanish in a puff of smoke as the crowds went silent.

Blaze reappeared in the middle of a large black surface, his body smoking from the heat of the hell portal. Looking before him, Blaze saw the massive figure of Mephisto towering before him, a look of absolute glee spread across his face.

“This time I’ve got you for sure GhostRider!” Mephisto cried, “I’ve gained quite a promising apprentice in your absence. I had to do a little mind-wiping, but he is quite obedient to my whims, unlike you.”

Mephisto’s clawed hand dropped the body of a young man dressed in yellow and black onto the surface, laughing manically as the he stood up, electric sparks flying around him.

Blaze looked Satan square in eyes before spitting on the ground in front of him, “You know I’m not going to do it Mephisto, I’m not gonna kill this kid just cause he’s one of your pawns. Whatever dimension this is, you know I can just warp my way out of here.”

“I think not!” Mephisto chuckled as he motioned Blaze to look around him.

Blaze took a quick glance of the surrounding room before realizing he was in a giant kitchen, or more accurately, he was small in a normal sized kitchen, as he stood in what appeared to be a massive frying pan.

“If you want your size back, simply defeat your opponent. That’s the deal, and you know I always hold up my end of the bargain,” Mephisto chuckled before vanishing in a roaring hell fire.

Johnny looked back at Cole McGrath, “I’m not gonna hurt you kid, don’t worry, I’ll find us a way-“ but Blaze was cut off mid-sentence by a bolt of lightning that was thrown from an electric bow and arrow in Cole’s hands, sending Blaze sprawling from his bike.

“Did you hear me kid? I don’t want to-,” Cole fired another bolt from his bow, but Johnny was quicker this time, the flesh burnt from his skin, revealing his blazing white skull beneath. Ghost Rider took the chain wrapped around his torso and cracked it through the air, causing it to collide with the lightning bolt with enough force to cause the air to shimmer with sparks.

Ghost Rider’s body charged with a fiery blue aura, before launching several searing fireballs into Cole. McGrath countered by magnetically lifting himself from the metal surface of the frying pan to dodge the volley as Ghost Rider went for his bike, quickly converting it into his familiar Hell-Hog.

Ghost Rider summoned a pillar of soul-burning flames beneath Cole, forcing McGrath to quickly dodge as Ghost Rider tore underneath him, hitting the edge of the frying pan at break-neck speeds as he ramped off it, using his body weight to position his bike on top of the distracted Cole.

Cole looked up just in time to see the flaming metal Hell Bike falling towards him, and quickly reacted by shielding himself in electricity, enough to send the metal in the bike flying away. Ghost Rider took the opportunity to leap from motorcycle in mid-air in order hurl his Hellfire Chain which wrapped itself around Cole’s leg, forcing him to the ground along with Blaze.

The chain scorched into Cole’s leg as he tried to manipulate it off of him while Ghost Rider casually threw the chain to the ground, causing it to melt onto the frying pan’s metal surface.

Ghost Rider calmly walked back over to his bike, picking it up off the ground and restarting the engine. Cole watched as the bike turned towards him and blasted forward. MacGrath quickly raised a shield of magnetic energy in front of him to stop the approaching hog as the bike seemingly slipped into the surface of the frying pan, disappearing into the black metal ground using his dimensional travelling abilities. McGrath heard the sound of an engine running a second too late as he turned around just in time to see Ghost Rider’s flaming wheelie connect with his face.

Somewhere, in the depths of a realm of endless flames, a devil screamed wildly.

Their faces are both precious.. especially Mad Pierrot. And he has the mind of a child! How can he lose?

Pierrot's the only contestant whose reference is a youtube video. There is literally nothing on the guy out there, which I guess makes sense considering the "secret assassin thing".

So far I'm going with Pierrot, the sheer amount of weaponry beneath his cloak is jaw dropping, but I don't know much about what Killface can do so I may be swayed.

Considering all of the strange gravity-defying stuff Pierrot does, I'd go with him. Not least because of his massive arsenal, and the fact that he's immune to bullets.

Killface was nominated solely for my lulzing, even if he is very powerful. MP would win.

Even though Spike did beat him by throwing a knife at him... didn't kill him but it turned him into a cry baby... maybe Killface could.
