Title: The Clash Mart Post by: Gaffit on 08 July, 2008, 11:04:41 pm Welcome to the Clash Mart!
The Clash Mart is where you can buy items and weapons for the Clash of Smash. Buying: How this works is you tell me what you want and how much AP you currently have, and I'll come up with a fair price for it. I keep an updated list of how much money user’s have spent, so you can find out how much money your character currently has. The formula for finding your current money is simple. (Current AP) X 20 + 100 = (Total Possible) – (Amount Spent) = Current JD The Catalogue: Proofing: Usually runs around 40 JD per item/weapon/piece of clothing. Depends on what you want proofed against. Takes up one Elemental Slot. Empowerment: Usually runs around 40 JD per item/weapon/piece of clothing. Depends on what element you want to empower something with. Takes up one Elemental Slot. Cut Through Anything: The upgrade that all clashers aspire to have. This upgrade will allow one of your weapons to be able to slice through anything at all. Adamantium will be like hot butter to you. 3,000 JD per weapon, is cancelled out by Unbreakable. Unbreakable: The only known defense against a weapon with the cut through anything upgrade. All weapons are Unbreakable as a standard, but that doesn’t mean you don’t want some extra protection. 3,000 JD per item/piece of clothing. Is cancelled out by Cut through anything. Weapons: All weapons initially cost 60 JD, However, that price can fluctuate depending on what you want it made out of. Every weapon/item/piece of clothing in Clash of Smash starts off with 3 Elemental Slots. Vehicles: A recent addition due to their boost in popularity. Vehicles start at a base price of 400 JD. Companions: A recent addition due to their boost in popularity. Companions are robotic counterparts made of non-magnetic components. Companions can range from ToolBoxes to Dragons to Shrimp. Whichever type of companion you choose, I will throw in a standard use for it free of charge. An example of this is if you pick a cat, I’ll throw in Retractable Adamantium Claws. Pick a gopher, and I’ll throw in the ability to dig large tunnels at high speeds. All companions start at a base price of 400 JD. Elemental Slots: Buying more Elemental Slots allows you to have more than the standard three Elemental Slots on any item/weapon/piece of clothing. Elemental slots cost 300 JD. Forts: All the rage nowadays. If you’re starting a team, you can’t have random zaniness or evil plans without a place to do it in privacy. Forts cost 750 JD no matter what. Add anything you can think of to it and the price stays the same. Specialty Items: Name what you want, I'll come up with a price The List: A list I keep of every current character in Clash of Smash and how much they have spent in my shop. The current list is: FM (Dmax): 3840 JD (Goddamn Dmax. Do you sell **** on the side to make that much money?) Rid****:(Dmax): 260 Hero (Dmax): 400 JD Dmax(Dmax): 290 JD Zaraki(Dmax): 170 JD Lotus (Gaffit): 393 JD Rief (Gaffit): 523 JD W.A.R.(Gaffit):160 JD Beta (Gaffit): 216 JD Drake (Gaffit):188 JD Hawk (Hawk): 914 JD Quill (Hawk):123 JD Phoenix (Hawk): 223 JD Judgment Angel Zero (JA0): 230 JD Con Briofe (Salty): 60 JD Versaren (Salty): 60 JD DarkBlaze (DB): 470 JD Dimitri:(DB): 50 JD Nikoleis (Nik): 1150 JD Tyrenion (Nik): 140 JD Adynos (Nik): 70 JD Sheylan (Nik): 140 JD MAJ(Nik): 250 JD Marcus (Doc): 1712 JD GF(GF):90JD MW(GF):50JD Trew(true):50JD Title: Re: The Clash Mart Post by: Ultima_Dragoon on 21 July, 2008, 01:13:49 am Your soul.

Title: Re: The Clash Mart Post by: Gaffit on 04 August, 2008, 07:33:50 pm Komodo: What the Hell did I do to deserve this!? You broke my heart! ;~; and scratched my counter.... does our debt carry over gaffit? Haven't thought about that. I suppose that characters that were carried over probably should, otherwise those players would have a huge advantage over the new players as they could just use those characters as banks to buy awesome equipment for their other characters. Title: Re: The Clash Mart Post by: Gaffit on 04 August, 2008, 07:54:27 pm Doc: whats the price? To be honest, I'm having trouble putting a price tag on it in good conscience since I'm basically selling you elemental immunity and then some. If you could tell me what you plan to use it for, via PM or otherwise, then I'd be able to put a price on it's use more easily, and if I know your intentions instead of just assuming you're going to use this device to it's full potential, then it'll be cheaper as well. And I don't think the debts should be reset everytime we reset the CoS. It's massively unfair to new players. Hey, I just did the math, hell, I cut all kinds of cost by simply lumping "science" and "magic" into one element each. And even then, I cut like three element slots to get that number. It needs to be able to shoot missiles, machine guns, shotguns, arrows, lasers, and frisbees. Wheels have spikes, and can spawn swords on the rims. I also want it to be ridable on ANY surface. Other abilities include oil slicks, smog trail, caltrop trail, and chain firing action. It can summon wings to fly too, and the front has a drill to dig with.
Now here's the good part: It transforms into a mech, with rocket shoes, beam sabre, flamethrower, missiles, particle beam cannons, ice, electricity, and dark immunities, wolverine claws, giant sniper rifles, drills, and nuclear bombs. Title: Re: The Clash Mart Post by: Ƨɒlƚy on 23 June, 2009, 08:12:04 pm Can they be modified to not follow those rules if they can't transport characters?
Title: Re: The Clash Mart Post by: Gaffit on 23 June, 2009, 08:14:49 pm Can they be modified to not follow those rules if they can't transport characters? I'm sorry but I don't take bribes. Basically the rules that they can't be used directly on your opponent and they can only be used once every 2 turns will still apply. Other than that, I think the set will run you about 140 JD.Title: Re: The Clash Mart Post by: Ƨɒlƚy on 23 June, 2009, 08:17:34 pm Very well then. Title: Re: The Clash Mart Post by: Gaffit on 23 June, 2009, 08:19:19 pm Very well then. Can I at least bend it so much so that the turn rules only apply upon the turn which the thing emerges from the exit? So basically you want to be able to stay between the portals for more than one turn? I suppose that reasonable, considering I've seen people do the same with darkness control. Title: Re: The Clash Mart Post by: Ƨɒlƚy on 23 June, 2009, 08:25:22 pm Actually, I don't want it for the purpose of refuge (though I suppose I could use it that way). I had something much more diabolical in mind.
Ah, another two questions come to mind. 1. How much more would it cost it implement a function which locks either the entrance or the exit closed, preventing anything which has entered from exiting, or being withdrawn? 2. What exactly are the rules about affecting your opponent directly with a portal? Title: Re: The Clash Mart Post by: Gaffit on 23 June, 2009, 08:31:06 pm Actually, I don't want it for the purpose of refuge (though I suppose I could use it that way). You can send it to me via PM if you don't want it revealed. Also, the exit closing thing is pretty much implied isn't it? Considering the portals are controlled by being connected to your mind. And Affecting your opponent directly with a portal means you cannot use your portals on any part of your opponent or on their IW weapons (of course it still works on anything created by the weapon. So you can't portal away the gun, but you can portal the bullets to hell if you like). Title: Re: The Clash Mart Post by: Gaffit on 06 July, 2009, 06:44:30 pm Thoughts? It looks good. I like Phoenix' hallucination ability. Rief used to have one, except it never worked. But yours should work better since Rief's had a bunch of drawbacks. The only note I can make is that, you know Hawk's shield override can only be used after 10 turns right? Nikoleis enters "Hum ... oh, Gaffit ! Hi !" "I wanted to see if I could order something... I did all the schematics, but I lack time, material and production license to work on it. Her is it" The stange machine described is a sort of gyroscopic wheel, mounted on a pendant. It is done so energy can be trapped in it and such being stored for future uses. The capacity is equivalent to three (3, ***) mana point, usable for activating / sustaining power. Recharging it is simple, but requires the user to recharge magically, which need the same amount of power which will be stocked in it. "... So ? How much would you charge for this ?" Title: Re: The Clash Mart Post by: Gaffit on 10 August, 2009, 12:55:58 pm What could it be used for. From what it sounds like, it can either be used to absorb magic attacks, use one massive attack, or allow you to temporarily raise your Magic stat.
Title: Re: The Clash Mart Post by: NPC Overlord Nikoleis on 10 August, 2009, 12:58:31 pm Third one, maybe second one too (with the appropriate abilities combo), first one is planned for a distant future.

"Then, there's that good old electric infused tachi I left last time, I would like to pay the storage fee, now." "Of course, I know I do not have enough weapon slot (and arms) to uses everything, but I wanted to know if a weapon warper would be legal, allowing me to change my weapon whenever I want for a cost." Title: Re: The Clash Armory Post by: Gaffit on 24 October, 2009, 04:07:51 pm We got rid of weapon slots awhile ago didn't we? Why are these weapon slot rumors still going around?
Anyway, giving your magitech blade the ability to store it's own energy should be relatively cheap, probably running around 30 JD. Title: Re: The Clash Armory Post by: Hawk_v3 on 24 October, 2009, 04:09:42 pm How much would something to allow me to create IW summons cost?
Title: Re: The Clash Armory Post by: Gaffit on 24 October, 2009, 04:16:33 pm How much would something to allow me to create IW summons cost? Quite a bit. The normal IW upgrade for a single weapon or companion is 3000 JD. Someone to create an infinite number of IW weapons would probably cost more. Title: Re: The Clash Armory Post by: Hawk_v3 on 24 October, 2009, 04:18:49 pm No, not weapons. I'm thinking like metal walls and defensive equipment.
Title: Re: The Clash Armory Post by: Gaffit on 24 October, 2009, 04:22:39 pm No, not weapons. I'm thinking like metal walls and defensive equipment. Even still, that'd be a very shiny nickel. Though there are ways of buying around IW equipment that are cheaper and almost as effective. Title: Re: The Clash Armory Post by: Fuuka Yamagishi on 24 October, 2009, 04:25:41 pm *Floats in*
Don't mean to steal your business, Gaffit, but with an ability that allows you to control a solid material (For example, the metal I can use), you can use the logic that since you control it, you can force the molecules and such to stay together. It kills your mobility, though... *floats out* Title: Re: The Clash Armory Post by: Gaffit on 24 October, 2009, 04:29:48 pm >v> All I want is metal wall which are very hard to get through. It kills your mobility, though... *floats out* This works, but then you usually get into a power struggle over whether or not your ability to hold something together is more powerful than your opponent's ability to blow something apart which usually leads to fight-angst. As for suggestions, something as simple as a Kinetic Barrier Generator that gets stronger the more force gets put into it would run about 200 JD. Albeit people can just walk through it very very slowly to get around it, it'll make it so that an opponent's attack, even if it hits lightly enough to pass through the barrier, won't do any damage. Title: Re: The Clash Armory Post by: Hawk_v3 on 24 October, 2009, 04:33:32 pm Beautiful. And it matches Hawk well. I'll have it, as well as a PMed list of counters that work against it, please.
Title: Re: The Clash Armory Post by: Fuuka Yamagishi on 24 October, 2009, 04:35:28 pm Hence why I've never really used that logic...
Anyway... How much would a motorcycle cost that can be remotely controlled, loaded with various firearms, and can transform into a a sort of armor-weapon that covers an arm and part of the torso, increasing power and still being able to use its previously mentioned weapons? ...not that it actually fits any of my characters... Vehicle: 300 JD Complimentary Weapon: Wave Motion Cannon (I'm assuming you want it to be this one since it's likely to be most expensive) Plasblaster Armament: 80 JD Laser Armament: 80 JD Missile Armament: 60 JD Magitech Amplifier: 120 JD Drones: (Do want drones that simply defend the ship, or drone that can break off from the ship and attack opponents? Former costs 50 JD and are really easy to kill, latter cost 100 JD and are quite a bit tougher. I can sell you a army of WarDroids for 150 JD that are about as strong as half a companion each.) Automated Point Defense System: 20 JD (This is just an upgrade to your other weaponry that'll allow it to automatically shoot down enemy fire without you having to tell it to) Force Field: Alright, I got three variety here, Run of the mill shielding that can take in most quite a few normal attacks before breaking, and regenerates in 6 turns for 60 JD, Advanced Shielding which can soak in a full force GMB and then a couple normal attacks, and when brought down regenerates in 6 turns for 180 JD, and then I got my specialty LawnChair Strength Shielding which can take in up to 3-4 GMB's before being brought down, and then regenerates in 3 turns for 240 JD. I only install those last two on massive ships though. Warp Booster: 70 JD (Let's you teleport faster right?) Interior Design: 80 JD (You can design your inner rooms however you like, whether you want to make it comfortable as home, or filled with traps making it impossible to infiltrate is up to you) Chrome Toilets: 700 JD (Chrome shortage, not much I can do about it...
