That show was really awesome. You guys remember it?

It's on my list of shows that died before it's time...

It was so amazingly awesome...

It was supposed to end after Jack killed Aku, but ended with him carrying a baby. >_>

I remember seeing the episode with the robots disguised as baskets and thinking that exploding rope was the coolest ****ing idea to ever exist.

Also, Scotsman>everyone.

I could've sworn that there was a movie in the works; one that would give the series an actual ending...


That episode, the one with the Buddhist monks and the one with the assassins meeting and preparing an attack on Jack are the greatest episodes. The first Scotsman one falls just behind those.

I really liked the one with all the bounty hunters attacking Jack.

My personal favorites are the 300 one, the robots one, the one where he fights the old Nordic guy who is trapped in this cave as a lava monster thing, and the first Scotsman one.

I've heard the same thing, but haven't really heard anything about it.

I really liked the Spartan one too. The different types of music along with that tremendously badass ending...

Everything Genndy Tartakovsky made was pure gold, but I'd have to say that Samurai Jack was his masterpiece.

Someone here posted a link to a GFaqs topic about how a Metroid cartoon by Genndy Tartakovsky would be awesome.

Nickelodeon's Doug will always be the best cartoon ever. Followed by Recess and early Rugrats.

Rugrats was never that great. <_<

Really. I spent ages watching Rugrats, I don't remember actually finding it entertaining ever.

Honestly, there were always much better cartoons on than those three.

As in, everything.

There were better cartoons than Rugrats, I agree, but it certainly did not suck.

And Recess was far from sucking. Doug was meh.

I will admit that Recess was decent, but it was by far the best of those three.

The best thing on Nick was Rocko's Modern Life to be quite factual. Doug was watchable but I didn't really like it that much. I didn't watch enough of Recess to really say, but what I saw and remember was good.

I wish I could remember more of Doug. I watched it a lot as a kid...

Rocko, Doug, Hey Arnold, and Ren & Stimpy were my absolute favorites from old Nick. I'm glad that they all will hopefully have a full run DVD release, so I won't have to bootleg them with ugly R-DVD's and blank cases.

I wasn't referring to your post, since it doesn't exactly equate to Doug hate.

I never said it was the best, however it deserves more respect than that in my belief. If it was to become my favorite, it would have to best Rocko, Freakazoid, Space Ghost: Coast to Coast, X-Men Original and Evolution, Justice League(2000's), etc.

Didn't know you liked X-Men Evolution.

I'm every bit as much an X-Men freak, as Spring is a Batman fanatic.
