Movie is finally being released subbed sometime tonight. Apparently it's mostly made up o the fights and dispenses with exposition which is about what you would expect considering the difference in length between a VN and a movie. Apparently those fights are pretty good and having read the VN I know the story anyways so it should be pretty enjoyable.

In short, fanservice of a different variety. That's exactly what I've heard, but even though I would know what the hell is going on, I'm still not interested.

Nothing should be condensed like this, but Heaven's Feel is less apt to be relegated to a glorified 2-hour best scenes trailer.

Watched. Worth watching for Shirou vs Gilgamesh alone, seriously. Shirou vs Archer was cool too but it could've been better. At least they had Emiya play during it.

Also, CG dolphins. I don't see why they can do Gilgamesh tearing Illya's heart out and flesh monster Shinji but they can't imply sex, but whatever.

btw I have not read the VNs of course and I've heard this thing doesn't even **** care about properly conveying PLOT, but has good ACTION. Kinda want to watch it should I.

I mean I saw the F/SN anime and whatever but that's a different route or something.

You wont even begin to be able to comprehend this movie if you haven't read the VN. The action probably wont make much sense either and wouldn't have any weight behind it. But it is cool and well animated so if that's all you care about then watch it I guess.
