Title: Astro Boy Post by: Ƨɒlƚy on 25 October, 2009, 12:26:28 pm So, anybody gone to see the new movie yet? I just went yesterday, and I rather liked it. Not only did it have really great, thematic orchestral music all throughout, it even kept quite a few of the themes of the original work.

The review I read said it was mainly for the kids and not for the fans. It's nice to see it was appreciated by some. I appreciated it mainly for the fantastic visuals, incredible music, faithfulness to the original themes and conventions of the series, and not having to look at a shirtless kid in black spandex shorts and boots. But I definitely have friends who are into the series. Might be something to look into, anyway. I heard from a friend of mine that Paranormal Activity was stupid, and I sort of wanted to see that.
