Anyway I'm gonna kick off the first post with what I'm watching right now....

Just watched the first episode.... The first thing I hear is Hiroshi Kamiya's voice.... This is the four anime I've heard his voice since the spring season started....

Anyway.... I'll continue to watch it.... Because I trust you....

Your mileage may vary though. There's quite a bit of somewhat forced drama, but by episode 4 I really started to like it.

And for some reason I love the opening, including the remix Yui does at the beginning of episode 4.

I'm now three episodes in.... I'll watch the rest after work.... I like it....

Episode 10 of Angel Beats makes me sad now...mainly because a good source of lulz is now gone.

I really like Angel Beats now.... I'm up to date on it now....

I agree.... It was a sad episode.... This time it was a character I cared about.... Also all the characters pasts make me sad too.... Even Otonashi's awesome heroic death....

It's a mix of awesome lulz and sadness....

And TK is the best character ever....

TK stands out mainly because most of the characters are quite generic. You honestly can't deny that, but Yui was a good source of comedy, and now she's gone. I really wish they would have waited another episode or so.

I saved that episode on my laptop just because of the whole classroom scene.

Now I gotta read the manga because it tells the story of what happened before Otonashi showed up from the point of Hinata....

I think the manga only has 2 chapters so far, so I'm not gonna bother. So does this basically make Otonashi a decoy protagonist, since the manga has Hinata as the main character, and Hinata tends to act like a normal protagonist on the show?

Yeah he is pretty main character-ish.... I actually had a moment where I forgot Otonashi was the main protagonist....

He's even helping Otonashi with his getting people to more on.... And he's better at it than him....

But he has had protagonist role in the light novel already.... Still maybe Otonashi is The Ishmael of sorts....

Also.... So is Angel just a normal girl who died and hasn't been able to move on? I keep thinking that she may just be the most broken cutie of them all....

I think Angel/Kanade just has no emotion from losing so many people after they became friends with her. She's just a good example of Poor Communication Kills.

Yeah it's a good thing that nobody can die then....

So who do think will go next?

I'd be surprised if it were TK, but then since he's easily the most popular character that would be bad for business. I'm wondering if we'll ever find out why he acts that way, but maybe it's better not to know about his past.

I think Yurippe will be pretty pissed though after finding out Otonashi and Kanade are going around trying to get rid of all her comrades, so she might end up being the bad guy in the end.

Yeah I've been thinking that....

Also they don't have very many episodes left.... And there's alot of characters....

At this rate a second season is almost guaranteed. It would be more satisfying if Yuri turns out to be the bad guy IMO.

Well she does want to punch god in the face....

Also not so much in the anime but in the Manga she reminds me of Haruhi.... Wait a minute.... Haruhi is god and Yuri looks sorta like a Haruhi wanna be.... She wants to fight Haruhi and take her place....

Still at any rate I hope that we'll end with a Did You Just Punch Out Cthulhu (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DidYouJustPunchOutCthulhu) from her....

Yuri gets pissed after finding out her former enemy is going around getting rid of her team, so she teams up with the shadow, absorbs its powers along with everyone else and turns into a demonic monstrosity, gaining enough power to brake free from purgatory and finally coming face-to-face with God, ready to open up a can of whoopass. Cue the ending.

I finally got round to watching Evangelion all the way through for once....

Now I gotta go watch the films....

I never bothered with Evangelion, because I'd most likely find it pretty boring. I just know what happens at the end, is all.

Yeah I didn't enjoy it so much.... I forced myself to watch it.... Seeing as I've dropped it twice before....

I rarely ever drop an anime. I only one I did drop was Girls High, I think its name was, because it was basically panties and no decent humor. Then again I was quite rash at the time, as it was only the first episode, and I at least gave Angel Beats a chance...

Four episodes is the most I'll give a series I'm not enjoying....

Episode one would have to be really bad to get me to drop it.... If it's boring then I'll give it a chance to get better....

I'm not looking forward to the movies but I guess I need to finish what I started.... Though Evangelion was good at times.... I found the end sorta funny.... But yeah EoE sound like it's a downer ending version of what ever was going on in those last two episodes....

I remember that I dropped Lucky Star before I started watching anime.... But I picked it up later after a year of watching anime.... It wasn't so bad....

I still have only watched the first episode of Baccano. And there was about four/five months between watching the fourth episode of Darker than Black and the fifth.

This but change DtB to Samurai Champloo.

That reminds me, I need to catch up on Yotsuba. I'm still at chapter 56...

Yeah but I'm fine with marathoning it. I did the same with Angel Beats which was why I didn't just drop it, and began to enjoy it by episode 3. I started watching it when episode 9 was out.

Well it's Heroman and not much else day.... So without further ado.... Heroman....

So that gitahguitar swing girl is Joey sister.... And now we have another girl more manly than Joey.... Besides her nothing else really happened.... Though next episode promises Joey and Lina's date with much stalking from Psy, Denton, Holly, and hopefully Stan Lee.... Even if he doesn't appear I'll assume he's there but we can't see him because everybody knows Stan Lee is a stealthy bastard.... Also Awesome fight....

I dunno if I should watch Heroman, I need convincing. Perhaps TV Tropes will give me some form of direction...

Heroman isn't really nothing special.... Though I feel that it's story has gotten better since episode nine.... Though the action has decreased.... Though it could get better....

So it turns out Angel is a normal girl just like I thought.... But I didn't think Yuri knew that all along.... I guess she felt that Angel had to be the bad guy because she follows the rules and being the president enforces them....

So it seems Yuri doesn't really care about Otonashi's plans.... Although thanks to those shadows and the fact they can turn people into NPCs by eating their souls (*sniff* Poor Takamatsu) it seems like it's more forced now....

I read a WMG about Ooyama being behind it all.... Seeing as he was the first one to see a shadow and he was there when Takamatsu got raped by one.... Plus he seems to do nothing.... I laugh if it was....

One last thing.... THE GUILD AGAIN?

I haven't seen it yet, and I'll watch it later. Does Nioh (the guy who's gay for Otonashi) or whatever his name is play any part in this episode?

Yeah.... A pretty funny part too....

So episode 12 of Angel Beats is out. I'm so confused right now...

Yeah.... So from what I understand.... There was a guy who came to whatever that place is who had a fulfilling life but had amnesia when he died which ment that he couldn't move on and he fell in love with someone in the afterlife but she moved on without him.... So he wrote a program that would turn him into an NPC because he couldn't take it anymore.... He then programed an NPC to activate the program when this sort of thing happens again.... I think....

Seems like Otonashi may be stuck in this world forever.... Because he glitched out the afterlife.... And so did Yuri because she cares about the SSS....

And well er.... Maybe it'll get clearer in the next episode....

I knew things were gonna get confusing when I saw all those screens (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/TheMatrix) and then heard Kaworu's (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/NeonGenesisEvangelion) voice (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AkiraIshida)....

But Otonashi doesn't really have a reason to be stuck there. From what Kanada said in episode 10, it suggested that he got over whatever happened to him and the reason he's still there is because he wants to help the others pass on (BTW, half the backgroud cast simply vanishing at the start was far beyond convienient), and when he helps Hinata and Yuri, he'll probably go, and then Kanade will probably go too since she helped them all out, even though things wouldn't have turned out so badly if she just talked to them.

I don't know.... For a short while I though Yuri moved on when she saw her siblings.... But then she wakes up and they're still there....

I think it would have made a bigger impact if she really did move on.

The last epsiode of Angel Beats.... Is sad....

I thought Otonashi wasn't gonna move on.... I think even he thought that.... But it looks like he did move on a started a new life and met Kanade....

But what I don't get is.... Didn't Otonashi come to this world after Kanade? Just how can she have been using his heart?

The only thing I can think that happened is that Otonashi was brought to this world so that Kanade could move on.... The time it takes to get there after death was enough time for Kanade to get his heart and want to thank his which sorta trapped him in a limbo until she died.... I don't know the reason Otonashi didn't come straight away.... His memory loss was probably because whatever made trapped him in that limbo did it so he could go to that world.... Or something like that....

Or time travel....

Still haven't watched it yet.

Watched the last episode of Working.... With that and DRRR over will I ever hear Hiroshi Kayima/Daisuke Ono/Jun Fukuyama in one anime again?

I was gonna watch Working, but the site I was going to watch it at was missing the first half of the first episode...

I finally got round to watching the last episode of Angel Beats. It felt kinda rushed, like they needed a few more minutes to fully rap it up but spent so much of the time that they had to end it quick, leaving you a little confused...

And Bakemonogatari is finally over....

So now all the spring stuff is finishing let's look on to the summer animes!

I'm looking forward to Highschool of the Dead.... I read the manga last year and it was pretty good.... I'm sure Adol will watch this too... He did a profile on it.... Zombie fighting action with fanservice in between! ....Not zombie fanservice....

Ive decided to watch at least one episode of the new stuff....

First up is Ōkami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi.... Wasn't all that bad.... I laughed at some of the jokes and the narrator is a lemony type and I love those.... I'll keep a watch on this....

That's about it for now so I'll talk about Heroman.... I now think that Nick is still alive and that he'll use the eye thing to build a new army of Skrugg/Humans and Hughes will help out Joey in the end to fight them at the statue of liberty and other characters will help.... Because the open tell us almost all of that except for the Nick part.... But I just think that he'd be the only one who'd want to do all that.... Either that or it's Stan Lee....

Tatami Galaxy is over.... It was pretty good.... The plot is one of those jigsaw ones.... In the end the Narrator got with Akashi although when he ran towards Ozu naked calling his name I was pretty sure he was gonna end up with him.... I mean they were sorta close to doing that so many times what with that whole black string of fate and the kiss in episode two.... Also Ozu isn't ugly....

Yay! High School of the Dead!

It was good.... It's only the start though but I know where it's going so I'm sure it'll be awesome.... Highlight of the summer lineup....

Just downloaded the first episode of HotD, and came in here to see if you had seen it yet. I scrolled all the way down the page before I got to that last post and realized you had that huge-ass signature and a profile themed around it.

Of course I would see it straight away.... I like to keep in the know about when anime airs....

Also.... You like the sig? Not too big? I ment to just resize the pictures used for it to for a normal sig and then I got bored and put them in one picture and it ended up being a desktop background so I had to resize and crop that....

I'd imagine it's kind of big for other people. I have a pretty big resolution and a decent sized monitor, and it takes up approximately half the screen for me. It doesn't bother me, but it is a bit big.

And I just watched it. That was pretty awesome. I knew this was about fanservice and gore, but I figured the fanservice would be more comically done than commonplace. No complaints there, helps it flow better. But I'm particularly interested in, fanservice aside, if the show's going to do anything special or just be similar to other zombie things but with boobs and a school setting.

I'd probably watch it even if that's what it was the whole time, though, anyway.

But anyway, the scene with the "BFF"s was hilarious and frightening.

It's about the same size as everybody elses....

Spoilers ahead.... I'm not shrinking them.... But it doesn't tell you what happens to the characters just the basics of the general plot....


They get out of the school in the next episode.... They go to other places like a mall and Saya's house/fort.... They keep on the move.... It has a few things that set it apart from the regular zombie stuff.... Like the fact the group are genre savy as well as smart.... As are other people.... There's sorta a background story with Political thing or something that ends with a nuke going off in the atmoshpere causing an EMP.... And of course the shout outs to every other zombie thing (though still no L4D.... Yet) and the anime knocked it up with it's soundtrack.... That song they used at the end played in 28 days....



SPOILERS END!



In short it's a zombie story that was may by guys who make Hentai and love and have seen many zombie films.... Also the chapter names are film names with the word dead put in there somewhere...

Well I think a lot of other people have fairly large signatures too. But you are right. Height-wise, it's even smaller than other people's, and width doesn't effect anything on the screen, so it just gives sort of an illusion that it's so much bigger. Like I said, I don't have a problem with it.

Time for an update!

I'm pretty glad I didn't drop Heroman.... At first it was sorta boring.... But the they beat Gogorr the show sorta got better.... Anyway.... The preview for 21 pretty much confirms what I said about Nick.... Seems like Will has become some sort of Anti-Hero....

K-On!! was pretty good this week.... You know when they were doing the last scene of Romeo & Juilet I had my hopes up.... I was waiting for it to happen.... Then the lights went off and Ristu is already stabing herself and I am disappoint.... The only thing that kept me going is the fact that Yui is still on stage as a tree.... Why? Why didn't it happen? I was looking forward to it.... Sure there are pictures like it but I wanted to see it in the show.... Official and all.... I'm in despair! The fact that they skipped on the les yay has left me in despair!

Anyway.... Ookami-san.... Still sorta average but I'm still enjoying it.... But you know what's weird? after finding about Ookami's past made her more attractive.... Sure that's not wierd untill you know that she used to be a shrinking violet and became a tsundere because she was raped and nobody believed her.... Well **** was never said but heavly implied.... Why is **** as a backstory so.... Sexy?

K-ON is sorta kept the same as it was when it started.... Although this season has epsiodes when it'll focus on Azusa, Jun and Ui.... And they're pretty good.... I don't feel that it's running dry....

So I started watching Seitokai Yakuindomo, since I've started trying to check out some of the series this season. Its alright so far, and its funny how the main appeal is girls telling perverted jokes, yet I laugh more at the jokes concerning Suzu, who's the token loli of the group.

Liked the part where Suzu shouted "**** you! Motherfucker! **** you!" At that guy after he calls her a little girl.... But yeah....

I'm all for perverted jokes and whatnot, but half of them seem to come out of nowhere so much that you could blink and miss it, or some just don't have enough build-up to properly achieve a laugh from me.

There's so many innuendos.... Like pretty much everything is one.... If there was a drinking game for innuendos in this you'd be dead before the break.... There's a few cheap laughs here and there.... And why does the show have to use pouring beer as the replacment of peeing?

Not my top pick of the season.... That's why I haven't metioned it yet....

TV Tropes has actually mentioned the drinking game option on this.

I C. I've only watched up to episode 5 so far anyway, so I don't really know what you're talking about with the beer.

It's the beach episode.... Which is 7.... It's also alot better animated at parts.... You can probably guess which....

Ah.... I see.... I guess that's the easy mode....

Wait.... Mio is Shino?! So different.... Hmmm.... Infact it's quite a familiar cast in general....

Well IMO it seems to have gotten a little better recently. I got a lot of laughs out of episode 7.

Yeah.... It was the best episode yet....

Ookami san was good this week.... Not only did the episode point out the flaws in the female cast (minus Majolica) the kid also turns down the female casts of Mahoromatic, To are Kagaku no Railgun and Toradora too.... Also the episode started with some sort of fake movie preview that looked pretty good.... And the end showed how it the end with Ookami and Ringo kissing.... Then the three pig guys had to do the same but in the end we were saved by Urashima.... And all the girls had cake.... Good episode!

I'll watch Heroman later....

Ok so I just watched Heroman.... We got to see that Will is actually a pretty cool guy and how Psy broke his leg.... New enemies look good.... Well next episode seems like a breather episode that'll tell us about Joey's parents.... And everytime they show more of Joey's dad the more he looks like Heroman....

Hmmm.... Seems there's a promo for Heroman.... I'll just play this and.... **** ME THAT WAS AWESOME!! MAJOR SPOILERS....

BOTH THE SKRUGG AND THOSE TENTACLES ARE BACK AND MORE POWERFUL AND HEROMAN IS WEARING NIA ARMOUR AND FIGHTING WITH WILL AGAINST AN ARMY OF ROBOT SKRUGG AND TENTACLES!!!! OH MY GOD THAT IS SO AWESOME!!!!

Kishida Kyoudan & The Akeboshi Rockets..... Their stuff is pretty good.... But yeah none of it is metal at all....

So I just finished watching up to episode 8 of Ookami, I have a higher tolerance than I did in the past...

I guess I should take the time to metion a few other shows I've been watching....

Shiki.... It's a vamipire story.... Small village.... A mysterious family moves in.... A wave of unnatural deaths begins to occur.... The local doctor is all confused and perma stubbled.... Takes awhile for them to find out it's vampires but I hear it gets better.... Not bad....

Occult Academy.... Better than what I was expecting.... Pretty funny.... The plot is basic.... Fumiaki is sent back in time to destroy the thing that'll open up a portal and bring about an alien invasion but nobody know what this is.... Maya wants to to help because she mad at the occult because it became her father's life and death.... JK and Smile are the best characters since they took on some giant moth things.... With a keytar and giant spanner....

Strike Witches 2.... Second season of Strike Witches.... If you don't know then it's magical girls with plane boots fighting aliens in an alt WW2 timeline.... I'd say lots of panty shots but does it count when they don't wear trousers? The only time you don't see them is when they're naked....

Higurashi? The only anime I can find with a name like that is Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni

I've not seen it but what I've read makes it sound completely different....

There's some other random show called Ookami Kakushi that's really the same thing as Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. Some kid moves into some town with a dark past and grisly murders and psychological trauma in its residents and blah blah blah.

There isn't much to say otherwise...apart from half the crazy **** which happens in Index/Railgun. Most Slice-of-life could easily take place in the same universe for all we know.

Well the crazy **** from Index/Railgun wouldn't look out of place in Ookami-san due to the fact each character is based upon folklores and such....

So anyway.... Highschool of the Dead has it's own topic so I'll talk about the other show I watched today....

Asobi ni Iku yo....

It's that show that looked like a harem comedy with a catgirl.... The first episode opens with a girl fighting in a powered armor.... I though had the wrong show for awhile.... Turns out generic harem show is action show with a plot.... And a harem.... Plus so many shout outs.... Though they had a holodeck looking just like Star Trek and it didn't malfuction leaving me disappoint.... Basically it's about an alien race of catgirls coming to Earth.... There's a race of dog girls living sceretly on Earth who want them dead.... A group of people who won't allow catgirls to be the first alien contact.... A cult of catgirl worshipers lead by a rich girl which ninja maids.... Guy meets alien they get along and his house becomes the embassy.... His two friends are the girl with the powered armor and a girl training for the CIA.... There are small robot helpers.... One looks and fights like Inspector Tequila.... This is not the anime I read about before watching it....

None of you care.... But still.... This episode was pretty much about Yui's hair.... She has nice hair so it was an nice episode.... Not as good as last week in which they played on a stage at the school.... Mio did to trip over.... There's not really much else to say if you didn't watch it....

So a bunch of new eps for various series came out recently. Oh god, I'm turning into you. Watching anything I can get my hands on. The next thing you know I'll be watching the second season of K-ON, which I'm surprised I haven't yet since I've seen the first.

Excellent....

But yeah.... I'm basically a **** and an idiot so me watching everything isn't just to be expected but actually mandatory for me to live.... Obviously....

Don't even know if that's gonna be good though.... But I will watch it to see.... It's Gainax so I know there will be bouncing boobs and a crappy ending....

Possibly some mind screw moments too, but tropes aren't bad after all.

The two human girls decided to settle things with a shoot out in the woods using bullets that only destroy non organic things (AKA Clothes) and then the dog lady hires some women snipers to shoot them while they're doing this.... They then shoot all their clothes off and go home to eat.... Pretty tame episode this week.... Still waiting for the holodeck to malfunction....

Its always clothes. I wish more bullets in anime, y'know, actually hurt people.

Yeah they had bullets real bullets but decided that these new ones were better.... But they only used them for training.... Maybe they'll go back to real guns when they want to fight real enemies.... I hope.... The bad guys still use real bullets but that's no good because they'll probably never hit anyone.... Though the snipers had pefect aim their bullet was shot by one of those special bullets and well....

Also Oocult Academy.... Was ok.... These two bits made me laugh more than I should....

K-On!! - Azu-nyan has hard time giving chocolates to the rest of the girls and gets sad because they're leaving soon....

Strike Witches - Perrine goes treasure hunting in caves and Sakamoto gets drunk and makes out with Miina....

Heroman - Skrugg are back but it's more interesting this time.... Heroman gets suited up and they;re about to do some serious fighting and "then to be continued!"

Ookami-san - Oh **** everybody is in danger except Ryoshi.... He's training with Puss in Boots....

Shiki - Doctor finally sees the vampires.... Then they surround the place and the blue haired one comes in and beats him up and steals the lady he was trying to keep away from them.... Doctor is told they won't mess with him yet.... That Ozaki is one cool doctor....

Bakuman - They beat Natural and almost beat Crow got a drama CD with Miho as the main heroine and they got an anime offer.... That's alot of things to go right in one chapter.... Something will go wrong in 100.... I bet the chief will decine the anime.... That bastard is always standing in the way!

Occult Academy was pretty good this week.... Nice heartwarming episode and the plot finally came back at the end.... The real story is the preview.... Fumiaki starts talking about the next episode and all that THEN WHAM Maya is dead on the floor.... Didn't see that coming.... Though being occult based and the fact it was in a preview I'm pretty sure her death is only a small setback for her.... She'll probably get better....

I'LL BE PISSED IF MAYA IS ACTUALLY DEAD AND I'M NOT EVEN WATCHING THIS SHOW

Seitokai Yakuindomo was good this week.

Yes it was.... Could have used more George.... But yeah....

Also I heard that Mitsudomoe got a second season which is awesome....

And I watched the first episode of that samurai girls thing that started recently.... Art style is pretty cool.... Can't tell much of the plot yet but it doesn't look good....

I've heard some good things about Mitsudomoe recently, which has gained my interest.

You should watch Mitsudomoe.... It's good.... Most of the jokes are based on misunderstandings and ending in somebody looking like a pervert.... Except Chiba who is completely open about being one....

Yeah that's the one.... The art style is sorta like SF4 with all it's ink everywhere.... I can't be bothered to look up what it's called.... But I'm not to sure the rest of the show is any good....

Got round to watching up to episode 8 of Mitsudomoe recently.

Ok there was alot of stuff today....

K-On!! - It's all coming to an end the next episode.... They just sat around for most of this episode....

Strike Witches 2- Oh hey a new witch! She seems like Hartmann's rival.... And she's gone now....

Heroman - Heroman fights his way to the white house.... He's sorta too powerful.... But then again they were just mooks and a mini boss.... Next episode should have a more even fight....

Ookami-san - Ryoshi saves the day and everybody else helps out.... I had a good laugh at how they tried to beat Tarou and how he turned it around with all the bishounen you'd expect from him.... And fighting....

Shiki - So Natsuno's best friend is a vampire too and was sent to kill him.... The way they care about each other raises suspicion.... But oh my god Natsuno is pretty much dead now.... I'm starting to think that everyone will die.... The opening credits hints that Ozaki becoming a vampire too.... I'm not too sure about Natsuno though.... Keep in mind that those are the two main characters.... And they could both be dead.... Though they might become vampires but actually fight the other ones or I don't really know.... COuld just read the manga or novel.... But I hear they're both different and I'm not sure which the anime is going to follow....

Seitokai Yakuindomo and Mitsudomoe were good.... I laughed at how the whole Santa scene at the end was ruined (for Tsuda at least) as soon as the present started to vibrate.... And the episode title for Mitsudomoe was pretty true.... Especially when Sugisaki's mother turns up....

Also I know HOTD has been using Jimmy Hart Versions of alot of it's songs but this weeks ending was so New Born that I felt I had to listen to it after watching....

But anyway.... Oocult Academy.... Things just got awesome.... Yes Maya did fake her death.... With the help of the vice principle who is not the big bad as we thought but actually working for her father to protect Maya.... At the end of the episode she did a transfromation sequence and got ready to fight Mikaze who seems was the real big bad the whole time.... Sorta guessed that as she seemed like she was distracting Fumiaki from finding the key.... I hope there's more of Smile and JK fighting in the next episode....

I'll probably do someone from Mitsudomoe next. Dunno know yet.

Also on a side note the last chapter of K-On was translated today and the last cannon episode of the anime is tomorrow.... K-On.... Is.... Over.... More or less....

K-On!! - Azu-nyan cried and they played a new song they wrote for her and she says it's bad but likes it because of the meaning behind it.... Wasn't as sad of an episode as I thought it would be.... But then again this is K-On.... It's not Clannad and I doubt that even if Yui died I would feel sad.... But there are still two episodes left.... I'm surprised how long they've stretched out this show compared to the manga....

Strike Witches 2 - For a second there I thought they were going to mirror the first season completely and the ship would turn on them.... Seriously though this show has pretty much used the same structure as it's first season.... The episodes seem like each one is an alternate script of it's season one counterpart....

Heroman - **** YEAH! That was pretty awesome.... And what was up with that orange armed Joey in the previews? Looks like Joey will become the real hero now that Heroman is out of the picture.... Looks like it's gonna be awesome....

Ookami-san - Final episode and Ryouko couldn't even say she likes Ryoushi.... It looks like they planned on doing a second season.... Not sure if that will happen....

Shiki - Well the old lady who tried to tell everyone that there were vampires about is probably dead now not that it matters.... Seems like everybody will die in this show.... I wonder when the goth loli vampire will stop having polite conversations with the preist and finally kill him she almost did but when he said he thinks she a vampire she stoped.... Will she stop toying with the guy already.... Also I read that there was going to be a three week break.... Ffffffffffffffffffffffff- And they'll change the OP? I think that it's pretty much confirmed that Fumiaki is the key.... Oh great a time loop.... Either that or the future Fumiaki is from will never change due to some stupid reason like in DBZ.... But yeah I almost forgot that there would be 13 episodes untill those guys ran outside and were like what the ****....

Mitsudomoe is still the best show this season for me.

It started off with a weird recruitment video where the had their instuments dressed in there uniforms with guitar saying how you should join the light music club.... Then the reveal Mio in a nurse outfit with a syringe filled with lime green fluid.... Then it cut to Azusa watching it with the same WTF face I had.... Also Sawako had an idea for a hollywood trailer for the video....

Haha.... Sora No Woto episode 13 at long last.... Wierd thing about the show is it's not really what's on the surface that's entertaining.... At first glance this looks like K-On in some sort of WW2 setting.... But the most interesting part is the setting itself.... I mean of course it's scenery **** but there's all the speculah.... I'm not really sure why but show is good....

Anyway.... So the OVA bookended the series.... And they showed a world map.... Which now is being analysed to find find out where the hell this French speaking, yen using, German equiment, Swiss mountains, Spanish town is.... Also I sorta wish they'd do a second season where they try to rebuild a plane to explore the world.... shame it'll never happen....

Ahh, I was wondering if that was the Military K-ON! some people were going on about a while back.

Yeah.... That'd be the one.... It's about episode 7 that things get real and you realise that this isn't just some moe show.... The last 2 episodes don't even match what you'd think if you saw the first episode....

Well I just finished watching the last episode of Occult Academy.... So I guess that means the summer anime season is over....

Well I'm just gonna round up the last few episodes of the summer....

SYD - Yay sex jokes! Seriously why did they have the credits half way through? And when they started to do a clip show for the last half I got worried.... Then the clips turned out to be wrong.... I laughed at how Tsuda tried to point this out only to have his evidence change to match the wrong version....

Mitsudomoe - I want a gif of Hitoha puting the cat food in ther bowl and then back in the bag over and over.... It amused me.... Seems the cold Hitoha got was some sort of moe cold.... As misunderstandings yay!

Occult Academy - So yeah Fumiaki was the key.... Well not just him but also himself.... Yeah meeting your younger self makes aliens appear.... For some reason when Fumaki and Fumaki were looking at each other just before the aliens came I was hoping that future Fumiaki would say "well ****" and then aliens.... But yeah.... Fumaki grows some balls and becomes a complete badass.... He takes past Fumaki's powers and spoon and takes on the aliens himself.... The human race couldn't even stand up to these alien and Fumaki destroys them all within seconds with a god damn spoon.... He also tells Maya to take care of his younger self.... And then he dies so the portal disappears.... I gotta say I did not see that bad assery coming.... I mean I knew he was the key and he'd probably have to die or as the episode sugested go back to the future.... But to go out like that....
But anyway.... Future changes to a good future and Maya walks off with Past Fumaki and as far as I can tell marries him in the future.... That's alittle weird.... Maya is a shotocon and did a Hikaru Genji with her and Fumaki.... Yeah....

So now I gotta change the title of this topic....

Next up Autumn anime!

Watched the Durarara OVA.... It was awesome.... The opening was the first one which is the better one.... Then we start off with Walker taling and there's the rest of the Kodota gang.... Then Isaac and Miria.... Then Anri, Mikado and Kida with cat ears, bunnt ears and cheek crosses respectively.... And then Celty scared that the aliens are invading.... All the right signs of a good episode....

I almost forgot how much I enjoyed DRRR....

Also K-On movie.... /a/ sorta got all clogged up with this earlier.... And Angel Beats OVA is going to be an alternate ending or something.... Can't wait for that....

God damnit.

I made a mental note to keep in mind when that came out, then it just completely passed me by, and when I realized and went to look for it, it did not exist.

Best ending - K-On!! The second ending obviously because the first one would have only counted for the spring....

Best hair styles - Shiki.... Because the hair is so crazy I actually love it....

Most WTF moment - Matrix boobs from HotD....

Sexiest character - SexhairKaoru Tanamachi from Amagami.... She even appears in the second to last episode of K-On....

Most badass duo - Smile and JK from Occult Academy....

Most annoying character - Kio Kakazu, Asobi ni iku yo.... This guy is so dense it hurts.... Plus he's boring....

Most GAR moment - Fumaki taking out an alien invasion with a spoon.... So epic....

That was pretty good.... I wasn't expecting it to be good but after that first episode.... Seeing his face whenever the tsundere beats the crap out of him makes me smile everytime.... And his best friend is a trap.... Only two shows in and the autumn season is already the best this year....

Hur hur MM makes me think of Masterman.... As the main character.... Getting beaten the crap out of him by a tsundere....

I'm still waiting on subs for Bakuman.... But I get this horrible feeling that this might be bad.... I mean the animation seems to give a sorta QUALITY feel to it and it looks terrible next to the manga....

Ok I watched the first episode of Bakuman.... Not bad.... This part wasn't all that good in the manga either.... But it was a good adaption of it.... So this should get better.... The opening sorta sucked.... Also.... I think they added.... More gags....

But really, I agree about the opening. The Super Hero Legend opening was better. The ending wasn't very good either, I don't think. The animation for them running looked better when they came into focus, but the silhouettes looked really stupid <_<

So I just watched Star Driver.... I didn't quite catched the plot.... BUT IT WAS PRETTY DAMN AWESOME!

And fabulous.... Very fabulous....

So main character Takuto wants to find his father? And he's the galatic pretty boy (or GINGA BISHONEN) which seems to mean he can be both manly and feminine at the same time while also being awesome.... Oh and pilot one of those robots.... And probably some other stuff.... And the bad guys want to break some seals that involve four girls for some reason.... And there's.... Oh who cares about the plot? This was just awesome to watch....

Also art style looks more like Bakuman than Bakuman does....

Oh, so that's a real song. Huh...*adds to MP3*

Shame it's not the remix used in dat transformation....

Anyway.... Oreimo.... Was not quite as expected.... In the sense of incest.... Cause it didn't happen.... But it was pretty good....

But while Oreimo has no incest.... Yosuga no Sora has.... Twincest I might add....

Yeah so I watched that.... It was alright.... I was expecting something I'd drop straight away but what I got was good.... And then there was this extra bit at the end.... Art style went all chibi and you know what? It was awesome.... Much funnier and sexier.... while the rest of the show was good.... I wish they'd done it like the end part all the way through.... And the credits for the end bit hint at incest there too....

Also watched Otome Yokai Zakuro.... Another show I wasn't gonna watch but did because I was bored.... Also not bad.... I have to say I enjoyed the male lead being all bishounen and then being freaked out by the female lead's cat ears.... I'll watch this again....

Then I watched Psychic Detective Yakumo.... This was also pretty good.... He sees dead people.... And he's voiced by Daisuke Ono.... The plot is pretty much in the title.... Will.... Watch again....

And lastly Arakawa 2.... **** yeah.... More Arakawa.... Awesome.... The op looked pretty good but the song wasn't as good as Venus to Jesus.... Maybe it's because I haven't seen it in four months but it just seemed better....And Sister is as awesome as ever....

this is the order I'd put what I've seen in. P&S and TWGOK are pretty much interchangeable. Pokemon was just hilarious on the third episode because, while the animation certainly wasn't superb before, it took such a drop in quality. And it was already a filler episode. I'll probably just forget to watch the next episode and never remember to watch any more.

Still haven't even decided if this is all I'm gonna watch. Might watch SRW. Aside from that though, nothing else looks interesting.

This Ugly Yet Beautiful World That God Only Knows looks interesting. What's it about?

Guy with a 2D complex (likin only dem anime chicks) who spends absolutely all of his time playing dating sims is known on the Internet as "The Capturing God" (cause he captures women get it), whereas in real life everyone just thinks he's a weird geek kid. Residents of Hell mistake his prowess in dating sims as skill with actual women, so they make a contract with him to capture escaped souls. Escaped souls hide in women's hearts and the only way to get them out is to force them out with love. So he has to begrudgingly help this little demon loli do her job by using his dating sim knowledge in real life.

Goes hilariously in-depth on the 2D complex as well as female character archetypes. The protagonist, Keima, is amazingly awesome. It's like a bite-sized harem parody series. The only harem I legitimately enjoy a lot.

Keima can be very genre savy when he has to be.... Thus lampshades everywhere....

Though he's not noticed he's built a harem with Hakua and Tenri.... He seems to have selective genre savyness.... And of course Kanon just confessed to him just before getting stabed.... And not even god knows what's going on with Elsee....

So who's your favourite girl and how far are you?

Hmmm.... Looking at it now the first season whould cover about half of what's out now.... The second season which would start right after this one should cover the rest.... And there'll be about 50 more chapters in that time so there's your third season if all goes well....

I just finished the chapter where the first four girls plus Elsea need Keima to help them get 100 on their English exams, and Keima only just figures out their emotions are still looming.

I think my favourite's... Uhh... I dunno. The top three, I'd have to say maybe, would be Kanon, Kusunoka, and Shiori maybe.

And thank you wikipedia for almost totally spoiling everything geez.

Safe spoilers for you..... Ah so you're at the bit where it's hinted that Kanon still remembers.... This the part where things start to get a bit more complex.... 55 is the start.... You'll figure out what that's all about soon....

If wiki spoiled you then this'll be worse.... Yeah it's pretty much the first hint that there's something more to the plot.... Such as Kanon having a Goddess.... And you'll soon meet Tenri who comes with Diana.... And you'll learn that there's a group of new demonds who want to bring old hell back and also that Keima's teacher is working with a loli demond to stop them plus she's stronger that the four you'll meet by miles....

That sounds surprisingly weirder than I was expecting...

It's a good manga.... At first it's just all he has to do is make the girl fall for him and kiss.... But then it turns out that the girls can unconciusly use the spirts powers and do some weird stuff like turn invisible or grow giant or even swich bodies with Keima which is where things start to get awesome.... Then it turns out there were three goddesses who sealed away old hell with them in it and they also hide in girls but grow strong on love.... Seems like they could help Keima out if he finds all three.... And also the above mentioned group know as Vintage want to bring back old hell and seem to be the ones responsible for releasing the spirits in the first place....

And Elsee loves firetrucks....

I think it's pretty good, but both are too big, and sizing them down would make them crappier I think. I suppose I could photoshop some of the characters out and make some sigs that way, but that's a lot of work.

Anyway I've watched the first three episodes of Oreimo.

Those were actually alright. I don't much care for Kiririn, but Kyou...suke? Kyouwhatever is pretty awesome. Well, he starts off as the generic contemporary anime protagonist, with all that "I'm laid back and mellow and bored a lot" crap, but he was really great in the last episode. Or well I mean episode 3. Even though that looked just like a final episode of a short series.

Must admit that a TWGOK and Oreimo crossover would be hilarious. Although 80% of the hilarity could come from Keima tbqh.

I don't know if I should just take the closure route with this as it is now and say that was enjoyable, or keep watching as it probably goes downhill.

Ika Musume was good this week de geso....

The first two parts were the normal comedy stuff de geso.... But the third part.... So.... Cute de geso.... And heart warming too.... I want a mini Ika de geso!

And even though the third part has no dialogue.... They still managed to shoehorn in more de geso.... De geso....

Also I'm sure you've seen something about this next one I'm bout to mention.... I thought it would be complete rubbish.... And the first episode sorta did suck.... And I just realised I didn't mention what it was.... Tantei Opera Milky Holmes.... It's still a low budget loli comedy though.... But it's pretty good for what it is....

So I decided to check that out since I had nothing better to do this afternoon and I figured why not. I'm nearly at episode 3 and so far all I can think is: What the **** am I watching? A lot of crazy **** in sight and no explanations so far. Plus I feel somewhat unclean while watching this for some reason, and I think I know why...

Also, Arsene is hot, but I still don't see how she becomes slightly shorter and less busty just by putting on a school uniform, unless she's padding that bra and wearing heels...if they don't offer an explanation for that than I'm gonna be pissed, unless they already did during the phase I was wondering why the hell I'm still watching this show.

Well it's a love it or hate it thing.... And as there's no middle ground and you don't love things then that only leaves hate.... Which is to be expected....

Hell no. This looks like everything that I hate about western cartoons taken up to eleven. It's a disgusting abomination that applies gross-out humor and does its best to be as repulsive as possible. I absolutely hate that kind of ****.

Well can't argue with that....

But there are some parts that aren't gross out.... The last two episodes had hardly any.... Those parts are the best parts....

The only episodes I can actually recall not liking were just 2 & 5. 5 because the first part leaned way more to being gross and not really funny, and the second part because it was boring as hell (yeah, I got the point, but that's no excuse).

9b was definitely something. I wouldn't call it a great success if it was trying to accomplish something legitimately dramatic, but the soundtrack definitely helped a lot on that one.

Well I found 9a hilarious, though 9b was total mood whiplash. I was waiting for it to build up to some punchline, but they played it straight. It was quite surprising.
