Ultimate Paradise

First though, I have to know what I'm up against. I searched a lot, and the fastest video I could find of the whole game, all 14 zones, was 70-80 minutes long.

Think I can do it faster?

I need to see you play first...well, if you did a video that is.

I haven't made any videos yet, if I had, they would have been for fun, not really speed run-y.

Did you calculate manually how long it took you to complete the game?

Not really, but I've never really played it seriously and abused all the tricks before either.

A question I need to work out though is if I should get Hyper Sonic. Doing those special stages would raise the time, but Hyper Sonic should be quite fast, I just don't know if he's fast enough to make up for the lost time and then some.

Well, maybe Super Sonic alone is just fine. Yeah, if getting to Hyper Sonic takes away time, I would probably avoid getting the Super Emeralds.

Well this will be tool assisted, so all Special Stages will be completed flawlessly.

I guess I'll just see how long each one takes. I'm still not sure of what my Emulator can do, so I'll have to fiddle around with it.

Considering the best one I could find was 18 videos and 80 minutes, you can assume this is going to take a while to get right.

So, uh... Does anyone know how to use GENS to slow down the rom?
