1, 2, and 3 were the best.

I've actually only played Megaman 4 as far as the classics go, so I suppose I'm not really entitled to an opinion there.

I liked Megaman 4 as much as 2 and 3 to be honest, and the first wasn't as good as it's first three sequels imo. <_<

Megaman 4 was the one I owned way back when, and I still think 2 and 3 are better. >_>

In all seriousness, in my opinion.

MM3 > MM2 = MM4 > MM1 > MM5 > MM6

And Megaman 5 only gets props over MM6 for NapalmMan. <_<

They're totally different from 1-6 though.

I was talking only about the NES games, but if you want me to include them...

MM3 > MM2 = MM4 > MM7 > MM1 > MM5 > MM8 > MM6

MM7 had better graphics, music quality, boss battles, and Springman, and MM8 is only better than MM6 for having hilarious voice acting, but even then NapalmMan was better than that.

I played each of the Classic games through Anniversairy Collection...

The only one I disliked was 8. But it was still good. 7 was my favorite for the sole fact that it had Bass.
