The only voices I truly mind are Rouge, Cream, and the E-Series robots. Rouge like I said sounds too old, Cream is just squeaky and high-pitched as hell, and the E-Series robots just sound.....lawlful....<_<

I only have a problem with Rouge and Knuckles. I mean, Dan Green is awesome and all, but I don't think the way he voices Knuckles really fits him that much, though it isn't too bad. Rouge just sounds like a ****.

Meh, I don't mind Dan Green, he just makes Knuckles sound like Yami Yugi, same with Griffith making Shadow sound like Kaiba.

The 4kids voices aren't all THAT bad... At least they can act. Unlike Tails from Sonic Adventure 2.

That person was stupid. That burke guy was like the best Sonic voice actor ever.
He freaks out a lot too. It's quite annoying. Sounds a lot like desperation. I can't imagine anyone being that angry because people don't like voices.
And no one ever complains about Tails... He just came across some pretty bad examples. Really. Most of what he said was opinionated and he rarely provided examples until later in the "rant", and then he only compared Griffith to someone who sounds weird and different as opposed to comparing him to the person everyone else actually compares him to, Ryan Drummond.
Vector, Charmy, Amy, Cream, Knuckles, Rouge, and Jet have the worst voices. Sonic's and Shadow's aren't that great, but more bearable than the others, and Tails and Eggman have great voice actors.
Not to say that for some of those the old ones were better, but just because they aren't worse now doesn't mean they still aren't any good. Of course we could fix up that little Shadow voice problem by just forgetting about Shadow.
I contemplating not watching the video right after the beginning where he said something like "the voice actors are very DECENT."
When you're trying to defend something, you don't go "oh yeah, it's alright. could be better, isn't all that great, but it's decent", even if that's the truth. Complaining about voice actors of all things in the series is extremely stupid, but that doesn't change the fact that at the moment, the 4kids cast isn't going to get much better than "decent".

Maybe. The reason I lol'd at him telling Spax3 to calm down was because he himself kind of needed to relax as well. He has a few points I agree on though, like the fact that whining over voices is stupid. Whatever 4kids iz dumz newayz lol Spax3 though...wow. That guy is a spaz. Might as well just call him Spaz3. |
