If it weren't for the fact that it was actually all Metal Sonic's doing, Eggman would have been pretty badass in Heroes going all "Oh hey Sonic, I'm going to take over the world. I'm telling you this in a sweet holographic ltter because you suck and I know you can't beat me. Loser."

Are you implying that Eggman has a hard-on for litter as well, and not just technology?

Well, Sonic did throw that letter away, so it's basically litter now.

And Sonic is a litterbug. >_>

Ignoring the fact that Tails just let the Tornado fly off probably into a cliff and jumped out of it without landing, it did look abnormally close to the ground, I think a wing clipped through the ground <_<

And that was in an FMV.

I haven't played sonic in a long as time... and the only game I ever played weas the original.

So, what would be the best game to get(on a current platform[PS2, GC, XBox, DS, PSP, WII, 36]) to sorta get into the series?

Sonic Mega Collection is always a good buy, it usually also fetches a very cheap price at GameStop or EB.

It's on all three Last-Gen systems, GCN, XBox, and PS2.

It has:

Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Sonic the Hedgehog 3
Sonic & Knuckles
Sonic 3D Blast
Sonic Spinball
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine

Unlockable Games:

Blue Sphere
Knuckles in Sonic 2
Sonic 3 & Knuckles
Flicky
Ristar

There's also Sonic Mega Collection Plus which was only on PS2 and XBox I believe which has Game Gear games and the two Japanese-only games from the original SMC.

Sonic the Hedgehog
Sonic Chaos
Sonic Drift
Sonic Labyrinth
Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine
Sonic Blast

JPN-Only:

The Ooze
Comix Zone

The Ooze sucked imo, but Comix Zone owns.

If you don't want a compilation, either of the Sonic Adventure games would work.

And all the handheld games are good.

Also, I heard about Sonic gems colection(or something like that), was it good?

Yeah, but not as good as Mega Collection. It was basically just the rarer games. Sonic CD, Sonic R, and Sonic the Fighters, plus some gamegear games and two Vectorman games.

Eh, the only things good on Gems Collection imo, was Sonic CD, and the two Vectorman games, though I also enjoyed Sonic Drift 2. >_>

Does that one go for cheap?  And what system was it on?

Ph, didn't see that post.

What systems are the Adventure games for?
