So what is this Sonic Unleashed thing? I've never even heard of it until now. Looks interesting though.
No idea. SEGA just trademarked the name "Sonic Unleashed" a while ago, nothing is for certain aside from that, though these might be screenshots of it. |

Though Sonic's face is hilarious in some of those pictures. He's all like XO!!!
And:
Sonic and the Secret Rings (Metacritic: 69), while fast and lovely, put Sonic in the world of the Arabian Nights and sent him hurtling forward with you following lamely behind. Using the Wii Remote's motion controls to encourage Sonic to jump or nudge him left or right worked adequately enough, but the game's god-awful plot, complete with genies and dinosaurs, and ****-rock soundtrack was the stuff of nausea-inducing nightmares.
I lol'd at this fail.

This looks like some hybrid sequel of Secret Rings and Sonic 06... The visuals of Sonic 06, and judging by that purple fire dragon, a similar over-the-top plot, but one of the screenshots looks like there's on-rails gameplay. It looks really cool.

Sonic looks more classical now.
I just hope the gameplay isn't like as Sonic and the Secret Rings. I want to fully control Sonic again, while having some actual freedom.
