So, Melee is horrible, Brawl is amazing and 64 is mediocore.
I consider Melee pretty mediocre to what it could've been, and I find that Smash 64 has better aspects.

I actually liked Temple of Doom a lot.  Although, yeah, it wasn't as great as the other two.  Not by a longshot.

You do realize the LotR wasn't written as a trilogy.  it was one long book separated into six smaller ones to offset publishing costs.
