Lulz. I picked Charmander, and I'm training him and Pidgey to be able to beat Brock. >_> I have the original GBC but no pokemon Red. Only gold.

I have Silver version, I'd usually pick Squirtle for my starter though, for Silver I always got Cyndaquil.

Ah, I wish I still had my Gold. I envy you! The battery backup died so I can't save and my data was lost. I had a lvl 99 Feraligatr I trained from the beginning and it had an unbeatable moveset. |
