*Meanwhile, Ari and ILS are climbing across a snowy mountain in the middle of a blizzard*

*Ari and ILS are still scaling the snowy mountain when they decide that it's too much for them to handle*

Ari: Aaaaah! This frigid gale is too strong! If we don't make it out of here soon, I'm gonna freeze to death!

ILS: Just hang on a little longer, Ari. I'll think of something, I promise.

*Ari and ILS continue on, but Ari seems to be feeling a little strange*

*Ari faints in the snow*

ILS: Hm? Oh no! Ari!

*ILS goes to check her out*

ILS: Ari! Ari, wake up! Oh man, this isn't good. At this rate, she won't last for more than a few minutes.

*Just then, ILS spots something on the side of the mountain*

ILS: Hey, what's that? Is that...a cave?

*ILS goes an knocks away the snow covering the cave*

ILS: Hey hey, awesome. This'll keep us safe until that nasty blizzard rolls over.

*ILS takes Ari in the cave and makes a fire for her*

ILS: Come on, Ari. Stay with me. I don't wanna lose you.

ILS: *gasp* She's not breathing! No! Please..please don't leave me. *sobs* I need you, Ari!

*ILS' tears fall on Ari's cheek. Just then, she wakes up, as if ILS' tears rejuvenated her*

*The next morning, the blizzard has stopped, and the sun is shining brightly in the sky*

*ILS looks outside to see the City of Soleanna just down the mountain*

ILS: Hey hey! Alright! Who would've guessed that Soleanna was right under our noses?

Ari: And the blizzard has stopped too. It's a clear shot over to Soleanna!

ILS: Alright, let's go!

*Ari and ILS quickly head down the mountain and straight for Soleanna*

ILS: Come on, Ari! We're almost there!

Ari: Okay! I'm going as fast as I can! Sheesh.

ILS: Well you're not going fast enough! Come here!

*ILS grabs Ari's hand and pulls her along*

ILS: Now we'll get there in no time. Your girly legs, although silky smooth and beautiful, aren't powerful enough to keep up with me.

*Ari and ILS finally reach Soleanna, bringing their harsh journey to an end*

ILS: Whew, made it. And what a beautiful City it is.

ILS: Ha ha! I see you're blushing! You can't hide it!

*Blue and the others are still in the City Square, waiting on Ari and ILS*

Blue: Agh, darn it. You're right. How could I forget about them?

Yune: Blue, what do we do about them?

Blue: Well...I honestly don't know.

Leon: Quentin, the longer we wait here, the more time we lose to Gaion and his goons. Who knows what he could be plotting?

Blue: You're right, Leon. I guess we have no choice but to just continue on.

Yune: Oh...

*Blue and the gang arrive at the Cathedral Palace only to find it completely deserted*

Astartia: Okay now that that's over with, I have important news for you all.

Astartia: I'm the other half of the Goddess Astartyune!

Astartia: Ah, so you're my other half, are you?

Astartia: The pleasure's mine, Yune! Okay, that's taken care of, now what? Oh yeah, that's right! As it so happens, the Senate, otherwise known as the Enlightened One's are truly behind all of this.

Blue: Agh! I knew it! Where are they now!?

Astartia: They're no longer here. They've already set off for the Guiding Tower along with Gaion and the entire Holy Guard.

Sirios: Gaion...

Blue: So this is the Higher Order he was talking about.

Astartia: Yes. As of now, they're waiting in ambush, for us to arrive at the tower. They plan to reunite me and Yune, and the Goddess' power to take over to world.

Blue: Ha, I thought as much. Well then what are we waiting for? Can't keep em waiting, now can we?

Astartia: Just hold on a minute. We're not fully prepared yet.

Blue: Oh yeah? And why not?

Astartia: I have no concerns about yourself, Blue. But the rest of your friends, they're not strong enough to tackle the Holy Guard.

Leon: What'd you say!?

Ari: Leon, hush!

Leon: But..

Astartia: It's true, you AREN'T strong enough. But that's my next point. In order to obtain the strength you need, I will have to perform a promotion ceremony.

Royce: Promotion Ceremony?

Hiam: It's a ritual performed on highly skilled warriors who are prepared to achieve their next level of profession. It's extremely necessary that you all go throught with it.

Leon: (Then that means...I can finally become a swordmaster!)

Astartia: With that being said, all of you, follow me. Come along, Hiam.

Hiam: Coming, Miss Astartia.

Astartia: Oh and by the way, Blue. You, along with Lilia, ILS, Leadan, Yune, and Zeldfan and her friends, you will not be undergoing the promotion ceremony.

Astartia: You all have already attained your highest levels of skill, for example, Blue here is an Archsage. But he started out as a mage, then he promoted to a Sage, and then finally to an Archsage. That is the highest level he can attain. Or, in some cases, your class of profession just simply has no higher level. There's nothing I can do for you, you're all ready. Now, the rest of you, come with me.

Astartia: Welcome to the ritual chamber everyone. This room is used for the crowning of royal officials such as myself, but it's also used for such occasions as promotion ceremonies. So let's get started, eh?

Leon: Alright! This is so exciting!

Ari: Leon, calm yourself!

Leon: But I can't, Ari! This is just..so amazing! I've been waiting forever for this!

Astartia: Okay, Leon. Since you're so eager, why don't you step up first.

Leon: Yeah!

*Leon runs up to Astartia in a hurry*

*Just then, a bright flash of light engulfs the room. When the light fades, Leon is garbed in new clothes. Instead of his usual red vest, he now wears a large red coat. And instead of his usual white shorts, he now wears white pants, along with the usual boots*

Astartia: That's right! I remember Gaion always used to say that his armor was blessed by the Goddess. So I thought, since his armor can be blessed by me, then it can just as easily be cursed.

Blue: Hey, you're right, Astartia!

Astartia: Of course I'm right! I'm Astartia! I'm always right! Anyway, once me and Yune put our powers together, Gaion's armor is going down! That'll be all you need to have a fighting chance.

*Hiam gives Astartia a big hug*

*Astartia leaves to catch up with Blue and the others*

Blue: Hey, Astartia. What were you up to?

*After a devastating separation, Blue and his friends miraculously reunite in the City of Soleanna. There, they meet Hiam and Astartia, Astartyune's other half. Astartia deems Blue's friends unable to deal with the Holy Guard laying in waiting for them, and thus she promotes them, granting them a great deal of new power. With their business finished, they set out for the Guiding Tower, the final destination of their year long journey. With the Enlightened Ones, Gaion, and the Holy Guard laying in ambush for them, will Blue and friends be able to triumph over them and bring Astartyune back to the world?*

*Blue and the group arrives at the Guiding Tower*

Blue: So, this is it, huh?

Lilia: But...it's just a big empty room. Where are the stairs leading upward?

Leadan: Ah no worries. I'll handle that. Hold on tight everyone.

*The floor of the room begins to glow*

ILS: Whoa, what's happening!?

Blue: This floor...it's a teleportation device.

*Blue and the group disappear and teleport to an upper level of the tower, but to their suprise, they find the Holy Guard in position right in front of them, led by Gaion*

Blue: Ah! It's them!

Gaion: Heh ha ha. So they've finally arrived. I've been waiting for this.

Sirios: Gaion! I'll destroy you!!

Blue: No, Sirios. Leave this to me!!

Sirios: Blue...

*Blue rushes over to Gaion, avoiding any soldier in his path*

Gaion: Hmph, so eager to die.

*Blue jumps over to Gaion*

Blue: Here I come!!

Gaion: Do it, Juni!

Juni: Right!

*Juni puts up a large barrier around Blue and Gaion, keeping them from getting out and the others from getting in*

Juni: Ha ha. He's dead meat now.

Gaion: Good, Juni. Now hurry. The others need you.

Blue: Ha, So you put up a barrier, huh? Fine then, that's just how I wanted it.

Gaion: Boy, do you really think you can defeat me?

Lilia: Blue! He's trapped in there!

ILS: Lilia! Blue can handle himself! We have problems of our own to deal with!

*Just then, Gaion's armor begins to lose its luster*

Blue: Heh heh, are you so sure about that?

*Blue casts a fire spell....but nothing happens*

Gaion: Ha ha. It won't matter if my armor's now vulnerable. You can no longer use your magic, so you're defenseless. It ends here, Archsage.

Astartia: Darn it! So our efforts were useless...

Yune: No! We musn't lose faith in him! We have to believe!

Blue: I don't think so, Gaion. Do you really think magic's the only thing I'm good at?

*Blue delivers a powerful punch straight to Gaion's chest, cracking his armor plate*

*Blue gets into a fighting pose*
