Lilia: Hmm? Blue? Never heard of him. Although...there was a guy named Blue who repeatedly appeared in my dreams. Could it be...? Nah, it was just a dream.

Oh wait! Royce! Erin! My ship! They need my help right now! Alright, fine. I'll help you, but I'm not waiting around. Hurry it up!

*Lilia runs out of the Pub towards the port*

Zeldafan: Oh! Hey! Wait up! Oh nuts. Come on guys!

*Zeldafan leaves the pub*

Link: Well, you heard the lady. Let's move!

Tobi: Yeah yeah, Tobi heard ya.

*Link and Tobi leave the Pub*

Jawo: Finally, some alone time.

*Jawo sips his drink*

*Lilia arrives at the port*

Lilia: Ah! Would you look at that? There's a whole battle going on! Well, I guess it's time to rumble.

*Lilia brandishes her daggers and joins the fray*

Royce/Erin: Captain!

Lilia: You two have held out pretty well it seems. I'm relieved.

Blue: Huh? Captain? Wait! It that!? Could it be!? Lilia! I've finally found you!

Lilia: What? You've found me? You guys, what's this weirdo talking about?

Royce: I'm not sure, but he's the one who helped us out. If not for him, we could have been dead already.

Lilia: Oh, I see. Hey you. Thank you for saving my crewmates. Now we'll return the favor by fighting alongside you.

Blue: Thanks, we could use the help.

Leadan: Well, Blue. Mission accomplished. After this battle is over, I will restore her memory.

Blue: Good. All the more reason to wrap this up as quickly as possible.

*Zeldafan and the group arrive at the battle*

Zeldafan: *panting* Blue...we're here.

Blue: Well, it's about time. What were you doing?

Zeldafan: We found Lilia at the Pub. I was busy trying to convince her to help us out.

Blue: Oh, well in that case, thanks a lot.

Zeldafan: Sure. Now then, what are your orders, commander?

Blue: Orders? Well uh...nothing really. Just fight.

Zeldafan: Really? Now those are my kind of orders. Let's get in there, guys!

Link: Great, finally a battle. Time to but this blade to use.

Tobi: Ah, now Tobi will show you what a ninja can do.

Soldier: Commander Tenias! The rest of the Archsage's group has joined him!

Tenias: Hmm, just a slight miscalculation. It's nothing we can't handle.

[BlueAnnihilator]

*The battle rages*

Leon: *panting* Man, these guys are tougher than the others. It's like they're in a whole different league.

Ari: Leon, watch out!

Leon: Huh? Aaaah!

*A soldiers comes up behind Leon and brings his sword down, but Ari steps in and just barely blocks the blow with her staff*

Ari: Agh, Leon, hurry! He's too strong!

Leon: I got it!

*Leon runs the soldier through while his guard is down*

Soldier: Aaagghh....*dies*

Leon: Phew, that was a close one.

Ari: Leon, please be more careful. *panting* That really took a lot out of me.

Leon: Sorry, from now on, it's gonna be me protecting you.

*Yune casts a Fenrir spell. Several flames of purple fire surround a group of soldiers and converge, defeating them all*

Soldiers: Aaah! What..power...*dies*

Leadan: Wonderful job, lady Yune.

Yune: Eh, it was nothing.

*Blue casts a Blizzard spell. A giant storm of wind and ice blows away a group of soldiers*

Soldiers: Aaaaaaaaaaahh!!

Blue: Hmm, this group is a little tougher than the previous ones. They're making me pull out some more powerful spells.

*Royce knocks away a soldier with a huge blow from his axe*

Royce: Wow, would you look at those magic spells? That's very impressive.

*Erin downs several soldiers with very precise shots from her bow*

Erin: Yeah, really. We're lucky to have them on our side.

*Lilia uses her strength and speed to defeat several soldiers before they even knew what hit them*

Lilia: Yeah, they really are something. But they're still no match for me.

Erin: Captain! Above you!

*Lilia spots a javelin heading right for her, but it's too late for her to avoid it*

Lilia: Aaah!

*Lilia prepares for the worst*

Tobi: Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!

*Tobi shoots a Fireball at the javelin, knocking it away from Lilia*

Lilia: Ah, you saved me.

Tobi: Ah, no worries. Just pay more attention next time. Tobi can't always be here to watch over you.

Lilia: Erm, uh, right.

Royce: Whoo, Captain. Where's your boasting now, eh?

Lilia: Oh shut up, Royce.

*Presea spins around with her ax, mowing down any soldier in her path*

Link: Heh, nice moves, Presea.

Presea: Pay attention to the battle at hand.

Link: Yeah yeah, as cold as always.

*Zeldafan has just defeated a couple of soldiers when she spots another group coming from the distance*

Zeldafan: *whistles* Hey Blue! We've got more company on the way!

Blue: What? Really? Darn it.

Leadan: Blue, allow me.

Blue: Hmm? What are you gonna do?

Leadan: Watch closely.

*Leadan casts a Purge spell. Several bolts of Light crash down on the incoming soldiers, defeating a great majority of them*

Leadan: *Out of breath* Whew...that should...take care of them.

*Leadan kneels down*

Blue: Uh oh, that spell really took a lot out of you, huh?

Leadan: I'm afraid so.

Blue: Ari! Get him to safety, quickly! He's in no condition to fight.

Ari: I'm on it, Quentin.

*Ari slowly carries Leadan away from the front lines*

Soldier: Commander Tenias! Our reinforcements were just annihilated by a devastating magic spell!

Tenias: Ergh, damnit. How could they be so powerful? Hey....wait a minute. That man, he looks familiar. Soldier, take a closer look at that man and see if you can recognize him.

Soldier: Yes sir!

*The soldiers peers closer*

Soldier: Ah! This can't be! That man...he's..he's...!

Tenias: Who is he?

Soldier: He's Lord Leadan! One of the Prince's advisors!

Tenias: Lord Leadan!? Wh-why would he be on the enemies side!?

Soldier: I wish I knew, sir.

Tenias: Okay, that's enough.

Soldier: What?

Tenias: We're falling back. We're too low on numbers and this treachery must be reported back to the Prince immediately. Sound the retreat!

Soldier: Yes, commander. Everyone! Fall back! We retreat for now!

*The remaining soldiers begin to flee the battle scene*

Leon: Huh? Are they really retreating?

Royce: Hey look! They're running away! Ha!

Erin: Ha ha, yeah! It looks like it!

Blue: Whew, another victory. Good work everyone.

[BlueAnnihilator]

*After the battle*

Lilia: Archsage, I thank you and your friends for saving me and my crew. I don't know what we would have done had it not been for you.

Royce: Yeah, you really helped us out.

Erin: Thanks a bunch.

Blue: Oh, no need to thank us, Lilia. It's our fault that the soldiers came here in the first place. You see, we came here looking for you, and they must have figured out we were coming here.

Lilia: Oh yeah, about that! Just why in the heck are you looking for me anyway?

Blue: Well uh...erm...it's a long story.

Lilia: And I've got nothing but time. Spill it.

Blue: Well first, I'd like to have my friend here help you.

Lilia: Hmm? Help me with what?

Leadan: Oh, you'll soon see. Just close your eyes and relax.

Lilia: What!? No way!

Royce: Oh come on, Captain. Just do it.

Erin: Yeah, I know for a fact that we can trust these guys.

Lilia: Oh fine, but if I turn into an ooze monster or something, I'll eat you two first.

*Lilia closes her eyes*

Leadan: Now let us begin.

*A light envelopes Lilia and Leadan, and then dissipates*

Lilia: Ah...wh-what happened? Ugh...huh?

Blue: Hey, Lilia. Long time no see.

Lilia: I-I...I can't believe my eyes! Is it really you, Blue!?

Blue: Yes, it's me.

Lilia: Oh Blue!!!

*Lilia rushes up and hugs Blue*

Lilia: Blue, you kept your promise. You promised we'd see eachother again.

Blue: Yes, I'm so happy to see you again.

Lilia: Me too. You've grown so strong and handsome. What a guy.

Blue: Ha ha, oh stop. You're making me blush.

Royce: Well well, would you look at that?

Erin: Captain...she's had amnesia? And it turns out that that guy's her boyfriend!?

Leadan: Well..uhm, I guess that's one way to put it. Ahem, now then, if you two lovebirds are ready to stop embracing, we have a lot to inform Lilia and her friends of.

Blue: Oh right, sorry about that. Lilia, there's a lot we need to tell you. It's very urgent.

Lilia: Oh, this must be about why you're scuffling with the Baldovain army, huh?

Blue: Well, that. Among other things.

Lilia: I see. Alright then, come aboard my ship. Bring your whole crew too. You can tell me everything there.

Tobi: *is looking very smug...well, as smug as someone wearing a mask can*

...don't even say it Tobi.

Tobi: Say what? How Tobi had to save that pirate's life? This just proves ninjas are better than pirates.

....*facepalms* Tobi...you're such a dork. *walks onto the ship*

Tobi: SEMPAI! What did Tobi do? *runs after me*


Link: ...why do I hang out with you guys?

Presea: Because ZeldaFan is your descendent and without her, you would not have this second chance at life.

Link: Oh yeah...that. *shrugs* Well, I've always wanted to go on a pirate ship. I think one of my descendents knew a pirate. *sheaths the Master Sword and walks onto the ship, followed by Presea*

[BlueAnnihilator]

*Aboard the ship, Blue explains the entire situation to Lilia*

Blue: So, that's everything. Now you see, we really need your help with all of this.

Lilia: Why of course I'll help, Blue. You know I'd never turn you down. It'll be just like old times.

Blue: Great, I knew I could count on you, Lilia. But now, we need to find one other person.

Lilia: You mean ILS, right? Just how do we go about doing that?

Leadan: Oh, that's an easy one. If his profession is any indication, then he should still be a bounty hunter, or in this case, a mercenary.

Royce: A mercenary, huh? Well that really narrows it down. There's only one Mercenary Guild in this territory. Their base is located in the City of Rogail. Just west of here, I believe.

Blue: Really? You're quite knowledgeable, Royce.

Royce: Heh heh. Aw shucks.

Erin: Yeah, when he wants to be.

Royce: Erin, you're not helping...

Blue: Well then, it's settled. We set out for Rogail first thing in the morning. Until then, we can hang out in the city and do whatever we please.

Zeldafan: Really!? Hooray! Let's go back to the Pub everyone!!

Tobi: Yes!

Link: Indeed.

Presea: ...You go on ahead. I'll just...stay here.

Zeldafan: Aw, you're no fun, Presea.

*Leon is kneeling against his sword as if he's hurt*

Ari: Leon, what's the matter? Are you hurt?

Leon: Nah, I'm fine. Really.

Ari: I'm sure you aren't. I think these battles are really starting to get the better of you. Maybe we should quit and go home.

Leon: No way! We could never leave Quentin behind! Ever! I won't have that!

Ari: But Leon...

Leon: No buts! Quentin needs our help and that's final. Besides, if I quit now, I will never achieve my goal of becoming a swordmaster. I can't quit. Not now, and not ever.

Ari: Oh Leon...

Leon: Agh, don't give me that look.

Ari: Fine, we'll stay. But please take better care in the battlefield.

*Blue and Lilia were listening to the conversation*

Lilia: Blue, they called you by your real name? Just what is your relationship with them?

Blue: They're my family.

Lilia: Really now?

Blue: Yup. Their parents took me in when I was just a small boy. They died just a few years ago in a horrible accident. I owed my life to them, so I decided to stay and help Ari and Leon maintain the household.

Lilia: That's so much like you, Blue. Promise me you'll continue to take good care of them.

Blue: I promise. To you and to them.

*Meanwhile, in the Baldovain Palace*

Lemia: Hey! What are you doing back here so soon, Tenias?

Tenias: Lady Lemia, I have urgent news to report. It's about the whereabouts of Lord Leadan.

Lemia: ...Oh, erm..

Tenias: Is something wrong, milady?

Lemia: Oh..uhm, nothing at all. Go on ahead. The Prince is in his room.

*In the Prince's quarters*

Tenias: Prince Sirios!

Sirios: Back so soon, Tenias? How did the battle go?

Tenias: We were nearly annihilated, sire. I sounded a retreat as soon as possible.

Sirios: Argh, you know you're never supposed to retreat. It's victory or death.

Tenias: But sir, I couldn't fall just yet. There is something I must tell you first. It's about Lord Leadan.

Sirios: Yes, what about him? Has he returned?

Lemia: ...

Tenias: No sir, and I'm afraid he never will. He has joined the ranks of the enemy.

Sirios: No! This can't be true!

Tenias: It is, sire. We saw him battling alongside the Archsage and his group. There was no mistaking it. It was because of him that we were so badly beaten.

Sirios: Leadan...how could you do this?

Lemia: ...My Prince..

Sirios: You...you knew all about this, didn't you!? You knew he was going to fight with the enemy, and yet you refused to inform me of his betrayal.

Lemia: Prince Sirios, I...I..

Sirios: Enough. Leave me at once. I'll deal with you later.

Lemia: Yes sire.

*Lemia leaves the room*

Tenias: That is all I have to report, My prince.

Sirios: Tenias, before you leave, bring Gaion to me.

Tenias: General Gaion? Are you sure about this?

Sirios: Positive, now bring him to me.

Tenias: Yes sir.

*Tenias leaves, and a few minutes later, a large knight clad in crimson red armor appears*

Gaion: You called for me, My prince?

Sirios: Yes Gaion. I didn't think it'd be necessary, but with this new occurence, only someone with your unusual power can stop this threat.

Gaion: What will you have me do?

Sirios: I want you to find the Archsage's group and destroy them all. Every last one of them.

Gaion: Sounds easy enough. Shall I take some soldiers with me?

Sirios: Yes, a few of the Royal Guard should be more than enough.

Gaion: Understood. I shall depart immediately.

*Gaion leaves*

Sirios: Archsage, your days are numbered. Gaion cannot be beaten by any mortal man.

*Outside Sirios' room*

Lemia: Gaion.

Gaion: What is it, Lady Lemia?

Lemia: You're not really going to fight against Leadan, are you?

Gaion: I do not wish to fight him either, but I must follow orders. Now if you'll excuse me...

Lemia: Gaion, wait.

Gaion: Now what?

Lemia: Please, don't fight against them.

Gaion: I'm sorry, but I must.

*Gaion leaves*

Lemia: Oh no. This could mean the end for them. Oh, I only pray that they make it out alright.

[BlueAnnihilator]

*The next morning, Blue and his friends are all packed and ready to go*

Blue: Well, we're finally all set to head out. Let's go everyone.

Royce: Bye Captain! We'll take care of everything while you're gone!

Erin: Good luck! Come back to us in one piece!

Lilia: What are you two talking about? You're coming with us too!

Royce: Huh? Are we really?

Blue: Yeah, of course you are. I've seen what you both can do, and I think you'd make a great addition to our team.

Erin: Oh, well since you say that, how could I refuse?

Royce: Yup. You're right. Well then, I'm glad to come aboard, Blue. Well, I guess I should call you commander now, huh?

Erin: Seems like it. Lead on, commander Blue!

Blue: Great. Let's move.

*Now that Blue and his friends have triumphed against General Tenias and his troops and reunited with Lilia, they set out once again. This time, for the City of Rogail, where ILS is believed to take residence as a member of a mercenary group. But unbeknownst to Blue, the most fearsome General of the Baldovain Army is slowly approaching. Blue and his friends are about to be in for their toughest battle yet. Can they survive?*

*Blue and the gang arrive at Rogail City, but they are completely exhausted*

Leon: Whew, what a rough trek! I'm pooped. Quentin, we just HAVE to take a good rest.

Ari: Yeah, he's right. I can barely stand.

Blue: Hmm, I think we all could use a good rest right now. Alright everybody, let's check into that inn. In the meantime, we can rest, stock up on supplies, get some good food, etcetera.

*Conversations*

*Ari/Lilia*

Lilia: Hey, so you're Blue's sister, huh?

Ari: Well yeah, his foster sister anyways. How did you know that?

Lilia: He told me all about how your parents took him in and stuff. He really feels obligated to you, you know.

Ari: Oh uhm, right. Now if you'll just excuse me.

*Ari leaves*

Lilia: Hey wait! ....What's her problem? Was it something I said?

*Leon/Royce*

Leon: Hey you, axe guy.

Royce: ...

Leon: Hey axe guy, I'm talking to you!

Royce: Well for starters, my name's not "axe guy", it's Royce. Now what do you want?

Leon: Well gee, I was just wondering if you'd spar with me. I could use an easy opponent.

Royce: Easy opponent? You got a lot of nerve, kid. You really underestimate me.

Leon: No, I don't underestimate you. I'm almost certain I can beat you. You see, sword fighters have a distinct advantage over axe fighters. The odds are clearly in my favor.

Royce: Pah, that silly advantage only goes so far, you know. Overall, it's your skill that counts. And I'm gonna prove it to you. Let's go!

Leon: You're on!

*Erin/Yune*

*Erin is preparing to fire a shot*

Erin: ...That's it...almost got it.

*Yune appears behind her*

Yune: Hello!

Erin: Aaaaaahhhh!!!

*Erin flails and fires her arrow upward, completely missing her target*

Erin: Aw, now look what you gone and made me do. Can't you see I was practicing?

Yune: Uhm, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to disturb you.

Erin: Oh don't worry about it. So uhm, is their anything you want from me?

Yune: Oh no, I was just saying hello. Leadan said I should try and get to know everyone we're traveling with. Since you're all fighting for my sake.

Erin: Well that's considerate of him, and you of course. Glad to meet you, Yune.

Yune: Likewise.

Erin: You know, maybe we should go hunting sometime.

Yune: Hunting?

Erin: Yeah, it's a lot of fun.

Yune: Oh, well that doesn't seem very fun to me...

Erin: Nonsense. There's nothing cooler than putting innocent animals out of their misery, plus it makes for some good eating. Ever had wildbird stew? It's fantastic!

Yune: I...I...I...Oooh...

*Suddenly a wildbird, shot out of the sky by Erin's stray arrow, falls at her side*

Erin: Oh look! There's one now! Come along, Yune. It's time for some wildbird stew!

Yune: ...Aah...*thud*

*Yune passes out*

Erin: Uh oh...

*Blue/Lilia*

Lilia: Say Blue, I've been wondering...

Blue: What is it, Lilia?

Lilia: If ILS really is a mercenary, isn't their a possibility that he could have been hired to hunt us down?

Blue: Why, that's silly. ILS would never do that to us.

Lilia: Oh Blue, you're forgetting that he doesn't remember a thing about us. If that ever happened, I doubt he'd think twice about striking us down.

Blue: I guess you're right. Then we'll just have to do everything in our power to stop him.

Lilia: Even if it means taking his life?

Blue: No way. That's not a viable option, remember? Leadan said that the three of us are needed to carry out Astartyune's revival.

Lilia: But then, what do we do?

Blue: Well, we could always just, knock him out, right?

Lilia: Ha, easier said than done.

Blue: Well you're not making this any easier, you know.

Lilia: But you're the commander. You're supposed to know these things beforehand.

Blue: Oh would you put a sock in it, Lilia? It's not like I ask to be the commander, geez.

Lilia: Ha ha, you're so much fun to tease, Blue.

Blue: Hrrrm, I'll get you for this, Lilia...

Link: Tobi...what's the matter? If it's about the pirate thing again, you know ZeldaFan will smack you.

Tobi: *sigh* No....Tobi kind of got over that by now. It's just....sempai seems to be paying less attention to Tobi. She's always running around trying to get to know the new people. Tobi just feels neglected.

Link: Pssh, is that all? Listen kid, you've been with ZeldaFan for a while, but not as long as me. You got to understand, when she sees new people, she'll go out of her way to try and make friends. But you really can't let that get to you. She'll pay attention to you when she has the chance. Besides, I know what will cheer you up.

Tobi: *looks up at Link* What?

Link: Oh, maybe if I said.....Tobi is a good boy!

Tobi: YAY! Tobi is a good boy! *does his happy dance*

*Presea/ZeldaFan*

Hmm...

Presea: What is on your mind?

Huh? Oh, nothing. Just thinking about our fights.

Presea: You are feeling slightly apprehensive of Blue's ability to lead?

Did you really figure that all out from the tone of my voice. And anyways, you have it wrong. Blue's a natural. He's new to the whole thing...but he does good. I'm more worried about my ability to follow. I'm a bit used to being the leader...so it's odd for me to listen to someone else. Often time, in mid-fight, I come up with strategies and plans....but I know they really won't work. I'm not as aware of everyone's full capabilities as Blue is. And...it's not like I can execute them without warning. In battle, the most important thing is to work together.

Presea: I agree. Do not worry. I have calculated our odds of loss, and under Blue command, we only have a 23% chance of dying.

.....thanks Presea....I really wanted to know my odds of dying. *sigh* Presea...I have another question. *pulls out a bucket hat just like Kisuke's* I bought this from a seedy looking merchant...do you think it makes me look more awesome? *puts hat on*

*The story continues*

Blue: Ok everyone, break time's over. Time to head out again. The mercenaries are just ahead of here, right Royce?

Royce: Right, we're really close.

*Blue and the group arrive at the Mercenary fort*

Royce: This is the place, commander.

Blue: Wow. This place is larger than I thought. It's huge!

Leadan: Blue, look closely. No one's here.

Leon: What? Are you serious? Aw, man.

Blue: Hmm, they must be out on an assignment.

Ari: So what do we do? We can't just sit here and wait for them, can we?

Blue: Well, uh, I don't think we have any other choice. Oh well, let's go back into town.

*Suddenly, a wave of energy flies toward Blue*

Lilia: Blue, watch out!!

Blue: Huh? Aaah!

*Lilia tackles Blue to the ground, just in time to avoid the attack*

Blue: Whew, that was a close one.

*The unit of royal guard soldiers get into formation in front of Blue and the group*

Leadan: Ah, that's the royal guard! Sirios must be getting serious.

Blue: The Royal guard? I'm assuming these guys are the cream of the crop, huh?

Leadan: Correct. They're the toughest soldiers that Baldovain can offer, but they're usually confined to guarding the palace.

Blue: So instead he sent them after us, eh? Well then, I guess it's time to get cookin'.

Leadan: Blue, be wary! You must have figured that they're stronger than your average soldiers. Inform everyone to take extra care.

Blue: Right. Let's go everyone!

*The battle ensues. Blue and the gang are holding their own, until General Gaion appears on the battlefield*

*Leadan strikes down a guardman, and then notices Gaion*

Leadan: !!!

Blue: Leadan, who is that man?

Leadan: He's General Gaion, the most powerful General in the entire army.

Blue: The entire army? Amazing.

Leadan: Amazing indeed. He's never been defeated in battle, not even once.

Blue: Oh is that so, huh? Well he's never met me!

*Blue runs toward Gaion, but Leadan stops him*

Leadan: Blue, no! Let me handle him.

Blue: A-are you sure?

Leadan: Yes. Stay back here and take care of the others.

*Leadan rushes up to Gaion*

Gaion: Heh ha ha. Leadan, it's been a long time.

Leadan: Cut the small talk. I know you're here to take Yune back to the Prince. Don't you understand what you're doing?

Gaion: Why yes, I understand completely. I deliver the girl to the Prince, and he exacts his revenge.

Leadan: Thus causing the destruction of the world.

Gaion: Yes.

Leadan: Then why are you doing this? Do you really want to kill us all?

Gaion: Heh heh, oh Leadan. That is not my intention. I don't intend to let Sirios execute the girl. That would be silly. I serve a higher authority, and this authority has plans with the girl.

Leadan: What? Higher authority? Who could that possibly be?

Gaion: You don't need to know, because you won't live through this!!

Leadan: !?

*Gaion brings his sword down, but Leadan narrowly dodges the blow*

Gaion: Impressive.

Leadan: I'll bring you down once and for all.

Gaion: Ha. Just try it.

*Leadan casts an Ellight spell. A large burst of light magic collides with Gaion, but no damage is inflicted*

*Blue looks over and sees Leadan kneeling, completely helpless, with Gaion preparing to kill him*

*Gaion brings down his sword, but Blue steps in and blocks the blow with his magic body shield, just barely saving Leadan's life*

Leadan: *panting* Thank you, Blue. I'll...be fine.

Gaion: Hmm, so you must be the young commander of this little crew.

Blue: Yeah, I am. And you'll pay for hurting my friend.

*Ari heals Blue as best as she can*
