I'm looking into getting a PS3 since HD DVD lost the format war. I need to know how it performs as a Blu-Ray player and if it's worth shelling out my money for it. I also plan on buying some games for it in the future, but I'm just curious as to how well it performs as a Blu-Ray player.

But you don't know everyone.... directly.... The PS3 pretty much snuck Blu-Ray into many houses.... |

I think Blu-Ray just fails horribly at how its players are more expensive than PS3s, it's the PS2 and DVD all over again.
