Not bad. I'm guessing the Stone siblings are based on Kittan and his sisters?
And Hawk, the TTGL references will probably die down a bit once they leave Spiral Island.

Yeah, since Roark's abilities are inspired by TTGL, his story arc is going to be filled with TTGL references.
And since he's named after a Pokemon character, a lot of these characters are going to have Pokemon references as names. >_>
TTGL and Pokemon...apparently, two great tastes that go good together.
Yup! I originally only planned to show Brock, but when typing this chapter, I felt it was going to be a bit short if I only focused on Roark, and also, felt I should update the readers on how the residents of Spiral Island were faring. Then I suddenly had the idea to use this as an excuse to show the rest of the Stone Siblings. ( After all, if you recall, Brock mentioned them in his first appearance. )
Also, I enjoy making fun of Brock/Kittan.
