They're great books. Does anyone else read them?

I played Splinter Cell.

Never beat it.

Are the books better?

The books really don't have any ties to the games.
Maybe Rainbow Six does, but I haven't played that.
There isn't a Splinter Cell book. I've played SC though, and it sounds like something he would've written.

I've often thought it would be cool to read TC books, but I don't think my local libraries have them...

Anyone watch the movies?

Yeah, I own Sum of All Fears, Clear and Present Danger, Patriot Games, and The Hunt for Red October. I think those are the only ones that have been made into movies, but they should make more in my opinion.

Yep...Sum was just sort of "Meh...", but the first three were good. Especially Patriot Games.

I agree. Ben Affleck didn't do Jack Ryan justice.
I still liked the movie though.

For the record, the book is nothing like the movie.
