I don't get how Ichigo can stop a zanpaktou that has the power of 1000, and at that power x10 on contact...with a shikai...and yet...with a his hollow mask, and in bankai...can't even beat ulquiorra

Ichigo didn't beat it on his own though, did he? Ukitake & Shunsui were the ones to actually destroy it, with the help of... that thing I can't remember the name of... >_< |

I'm really not convinced Ichigo himself did much at all against the sogyoku. I reckon it was whatever Ukitake & Shunsui were using.

He still has to rely too much on others to get what he needs done, done.
Then he angsts that he couldn't protect anyone.
It's ok to rely on others some, but when you can't get anything done on your own, you need to step it up.
