Whoops. Yeah, Team Aizen Jr. and Friends isn't going to win this one. I doubt it's even going to take effort on any of their parts.
And remember folks, these are all Captain-class idiots. I would not be unsurprised to find out that Renji and Ikkaku are both now Captains or are being considered for it, which would, of course, probably be a big thing for both their characters and whatever arc comes next.

I kind of doubt Renji or Ikkaku got any kind of promotion. Rukia probably only got one because Byakuya finally stopped interfering, which, IIRC, was the only reason she wasn't already a seated officer.
I don't see Yachiru anywhere, though...

It's fairly obvious, in retrospect. And I think I even got a hint of it at the beginning of the arc, but I totally forgot about it as soon as they introduced Fullbring and Aizen Jr. |
