I mean, if Tsukishima really has learned all there is about Senbonzakura, wouldn't that mean that lots of time has to have passed in order for them to have had all this training together? Unless he somehow hit Byakuya earlier in the fight, convinced him they were good friends, asked all about Senbonzakura's weaknesses, then made Byakuya forget again. But then why bother returning him to normal? Why not just keep a powerful new ally on his side?

Yeah, I think Jackie's probably the only one I can feel sympathy for. Giriko's flashback just shows that he's been an arrogant di ck for longer than we thought, and I'm not sure what we're supposed to take from Yukio's. Is he just unhappy because he and his parents didn't really have a connection? And is Riruka basically just a kid who was warped by her own power at an early age? This arc and these characters dont seem to be very thought out.
Probably because Kubo's trying to introduce these guys, give all of them a backstory and then kill them off all in less than one arc. It's just too rushed. The only thing I've really been impressed by is the mechanics of their abilities. Well, except Ginjo's. |

What I get from Yukio is that he's basically alone, and doesn't connect with anybody he doesn't create himself.
Riruka is just...incredibly childish. Far too much so for the age she should be.

Eh. Giriko just looks like he's always been Dickdick von Dickheim, and Yukio's problems seem to have predated his, but I'd say it's fairly accurate in the case of Riruka.

I don't know... From the sound of it both Giriko and Yukio might have had some kind of problem originally but their Fullbrings made things worse. And it seems like Riruka's had her ability from the youngest age, so I guess it wasn't so much of a turning point for her.
