I agree that for most of the time, One Piece is less serious than, say, Bleach or Naruto, but there are times when it's anything but kiddy.

There's a lot I want to know about quite a few captains & lieutenants. Shikais & bankais, for one thing. Same with the Vizard, along with their Hollow masks.
I also want to know which is the top Espada. I personally hope it's Stark.

I think the top espada might be Stark too, I mean he looks like he would be.
The only irony i thought about the #1 was that Grimmjow was the king of the espada so to speak, and yet he's only number 6 if im remembering right.

The only complaint I have about Bleach and Kubo's writing style is that he introduces so many characters, and then gives us no clue what half of them are capable of.

My ideal ranking for the top 3 Espada would be:
1. Stark
2. Halibel
3. Barragan
And I agree with Zeldafan about Kubo holding back with his characters, but I'd imagine we'll soon be getting loads of new info about the captains & lieutenants, power-wise. I mean, it's a huge battle in Karakura against the most powerful of Aizen's forces, they're not going to be able to get by with just what was revealed in Soul Society.

They haven't even had a shikai release for Hisagi, and he's been featured so many times it ridiculous.

Hm... I'm not sure Hisagi, Izuru or Momo will be in that battle. Momo definately won't, since she's still convinced Aizen's a good guy, but I didn't see the other two there either. |

Bear in mind that Aizen specialises in hypnosis. It's his shikai ability, after all. That probably affected her.

But still, With those hyped up Vizard abilities, you'd think he'd go on an owning rampage and generally be tons of awesome but noooo... He has to get owned by someone who isn't even the strongest... >_>
