Thing is, the more we see of Barragan, the more I wonder why he's not the first Espada. I mean, what's Stark got on Barragan's near-invulnerability and ability to rapidly age anything he attacks or even touches?

Stark's my favourite of the top three, so I'm not really complaining that he's apparently the most powerful, but it still seems weird...

I meant out of the top three Espada. Y'know, the ones actually numbered 1, 2 or 3.

My point is that Stark's clearly the 1st Espada for a reason, I just can't work out what that reason is. The only unique ability he's displayed is that special cero of his.


And what makes you think Kubo's forgotten? He's just focusing more on the battle in Fake Karakura Town right now.

I suppose, but since she's currently in Hueco Mundo with no means of returning, she's not going to be a lot of help in this particular fight.

Still, maybe there's still something Hachi can do. He did say that his and Orihime's powers were similar.

I wonder what makes Wonderweiss so damn powerful. Is it just that he was created last, and was therefore most perfected?

*shrugs* Maybe. We also don't know what kind of Hollow/Menos he was before he was exposed to the Hōgyoku, so that might have something to do with it.

And also, he seems to be connected to Superchunky, so that might function as a source of power for him.

Having just watched the dub of the episode where Wonderwiess was turned into an arrancar, I've just remembered that Aizen boosted the Hōgyoku so it was temporarily at its full strength when Wonderweiss was shinigamified. We don't know if he did that for any of the other arrancar/espada, so that could explain his apparent strength.

I think she's just jealous that Kisuke gets some of that BOW CHIKA BOWBOW that she doesn't, and hates him for it and his mannerisms in general. (after all, she's not exactly the only one...)
