How the hell is Yammy number 0? Or is Kenpachi just that awesome?
To quote Mr. Hert: "My god! Do we really suck, or is this guy really that good?"

Probably the same way that Stark ended up as number 1 and Barragan ended up as number 2.

As awesome as Kenpachi is, it's not just him. We have to give Byakuya and Ichigo some credit here as well.

But seriously, being THAT big is a disadvantage against someone like kenpachi. He can basically cut anything.

I don't know, if Yammy threw down with any of the other captains, I kind of picture the result being the same. Except for the ice captain maybe. That kid couldn't fight a flower without his Bankai getting used up too fast.

That kid couldn't fight a flower without his Bankai getting used up too fast. This. It's a big disadvantage to just about anyone with enough attack power. Yammy might be much stronger, physically, and have more overall power, but he was always going to have trouble keeping up with the likes of Ichigo, Kenpachi and Byakuya. All he's really done is made them smaller targets. And that body doesn't exactly look agile...

Great. This probably means Aizen and Gin have Hollow Masks as well. As if Aizen wasn't already overpowered enough... ¬_¬
Am I the only one who's never liked Tosen? At least Aizen has the magnificent bastard factor to make him tolerable...

I agree. Aizen had being captain broken going for him, while Gin was obviously out and out psycho. Tosen...he's a wangsty blind guy? With obviously hypocritical ideals? Yeah, not much to like.

And before he joined Aizen, I just found him a boring character anyway. And the sad thing is that he's now probably going to pwn Komamura, who I think is a rather underrated character.

The problem with Kubo's huge horde of characters is that either he takes the time to flesh them out. (Key word: TIME), or it's just disappointing when they die without any development.

It's not even that Komamura hasn't had much development, it's simply that I like him a lot more than Tosen. His fight with Poww earned him quite a few awesome points with me, whereas Tosen has always been "meh" at best. And the fact that he's now a Vizard will just make him that much harder to kill.
That last point also stands for Aizen. He's already one of the most broken characters in anime history, now consider the fact that we still haven't seen his bankai and he probably has a Hollow mask, which might even lead to a full-on Hollow form like Ichigo's did. I wouldn't blame the Gotei 13 for just giving up at this point...
