Meh, Aizen's turned the tables in this battle so many times that I can't be bothered to be optimistic about stuff like this anymore. And it doesn't help that Aizen doesn't look even the slightest bit worried this time.

Obviously. Really, there's no tension in the series anymore. Aizen's just too damn ridiculously powerful, and we're all just waiting around to get to finally see how Kubo's going to write himself out of this one.
Meh, at least we're getting more Shinigami Isshin.

And wow, how long has Ichigo been in frickin' Bankai?

Well it's about bloody time...
And apparently the reason Ichigo can sustain Bankai for so long is because there isn't much to sustain. The vast majority of Bankais summon this massive enitity/object or have a massive effect like Byakuya's, whereas Ichigo's weapon actually becomes smaller if anything. Other than that, the only major boost he seems to get is speed and a stronger Getsuga Tensho.

I've always imagined Gin's Bankai to be similar to Ichigo's. I wonder how close my guess is.
