You can play GBA games on a lite, just not GBC or GB games.

Agh, that model does like slick, but getting rid of a GBA slot? That's harsh. Looking good isn't really an excuse, but I don't know. But: I thought that rumor was false. >_>

Lol, I'm still fine with my Phat. I like being able to play GBA games on it, tyvm.
I was fine with it until my sister threw it and broke it. <_< Then I had to get a Lite. D: Also, I thought that rumor was false. >_>

they really don't need to make a new one. but they probably will because the Japanese will surely buy it. they buy new DSs just because it's a different color so of course they'll waste money on a new design.

My fatty DS's right hinge broke  I can still play it but the sound is unco-ordinated and it really bugs me. I ended up getting a Lite as a replacement (The Zelda edition, no less) So I don't need another. And: Lol, I'm still fine with my Phat. I like being able to play GBA games on it, tyvm.
