Doc: well, you're definitely the first one i've heard from. Owl is the best of the three IMO

unrelated: i just watched the 7 eps of luluco... and i don't even know what to say...

even less related: i bought a full price 3ds game just to play as a dlc character in a wii u game, and i can't tell if it was a good deal or not...

Well, yeah, could be worse, but unless you want games on the 3DS, that's quite the cosly DLC

Doc: well it was a set of 5 characters... but skull kid is the one i actually cared about (linkle, toon link, tetra, and the king of red lions don't matter much to me...) I i've already played SK up to lvl 60 though, so theres that.    ... also to be clear, i bought a physical copy of the 3ds game, so i could probably return it for like $25 if i wanted to...

Skull kid is so stupid strong though... his lower combos are pretty much spammable and tear through all opponent types. (single target, creep waves, and boss monsters depending on which u use)

I can only believe you. My finances are not exactly going well with getting a Wii U, sadly.

But at last, Bravely Second is here, so there's that?

A Xbone? No, really now, why? I mean, what games do you expect to play now or in the future that are worth it?

And if you like old school JRPG with actual tactical decision, it is very enjoyable. Got rekted multiple time for bad decision making already

Doc: Evolved, pit people, and recore if it ever comes out i guess? (most of my rl friends don't give 2 shits about the wii u game,  so i need to get xbone or ps4 if i wanna play any new games with them, or get new friends i guess.

i like jrpgs alright, but get rekted is currently xcom's job i think.

I have to admit, FPS / AAA Action games are so far out of the radar for me I only heard of the first one. But yeah... and hoping yourgeneral situation get any better

Oh yeah, XCom doesn't have the reputation to be easy

Doc: as far as i know evolved is the only fps/aaa of those 3 games (pit people is from the behemoth[castle crashers] and recore hasn't even been up for air since last e3) but yeah, i'd prefer a platformer to a fps given the choice, which might explain my wii u keeping me busy for so long.

its funny you say that, i just had a very surreal moment looking at my bank account... you ever check and see your balance is nowhere near what it should be?

it can steamroll you on easy if you don't stay tactical, so yeah, but i have some weird gripes with it atm, namely the inability to grind or fix "panic levels" in an intelligible way thus far. BD/BS have those types of problems?

Which prove if anything how much interest I pay to PS4-XBone games...

Well, yes, but usually it is a good surprise, since I am not spending that much. I hope it was for you, too?

Not really the same, but the game is unforgiving to say the least. One example: forget that you have Fire proof equipment one tier below your current one and you will understand the wrath of the pyromaniac Black mage and his pet dragon, for instance... yet it DID warn you he loved fire, so your job to do the actual planning, because when you're literally trapped with him, there's no coming back, prepare to reload your save back!

I've never played it, but I've heard BD is an awesome throwback to the original Final Fantasies. I've considered getting it, but my 3DS is bust...

What's Monster Hunter like? I always thought it was like Shadow of the Colossus, but somehow I think people would have made a bigger deal about it if it was.
