Chapter 4
Bizzle opened his eyes and had no idea where he was. He sprung to his feet and looked around. After a few seconds of examination, he remembered that he was free of the padded room, and that he had been injected with who-knows-what by some insane doctor.
I shouldn't be calling him insane...
Bizzle leaned against a wall, and was soon lost in thought.
I don't even remember why I'm in this place... I don't feel crazy...
Bizzle's thoughts were scattered when he heard a sound. When he heard footsteps.
Bizzle was near the end of the hall, staring at the padded room(I don't feel crazy...) from which the footsteps were coming from.
No...this isn't happening...
Bizzle watched as the creature crawled out of what had been his home(No. Not my home. My nightmare.) for all those years. It sat down in the middle of the hallway and stared at Bizzle. It was a miracle that Bizzle managed to pull his eyes away and dash for the door at the end of the hallway. The creature had stood up, and it started to change. Bizzle was almost to the door. The thing's legs extended and unfolded. Bizzle was at the door. The thing's whole body extended and unfolded, as if it had been curled up. Bizzle was on the other side of the door. When Bizzle turned around, he collapsed not only from the sheer fright of what had just happened, but also out of shock from what he saw in front of him.
"Am I free??"
