THe panel asks for the circuits to be switched over from the reactor, and the reactor generator taken offline before the diesel can run without frying systems.

Rief: Oh, I can take it offline alright...
*Strokes his shotgun*
I can take it offline real good...
*Rief dedicates that line of thought to Plan B and goes to look for something that controls the circuits*

The big button under the molly guard marked SCRAM should do it.

Rief: Gotta do this real fast so I don't wake up the baby....
*Rief pushes the button and then hovers upwards as fast as he can to move the circuits and turn on the diesel generator*

The SCRAM kills the reactor, and the power dies instantly. Red lights and sirens go off around the decks and emergency lighting kicks in. The monitor upstairs shows that the circuits can now be switched over and a button gives the option.
