I was actually thinking of trying out RPing sometime too, lol.
I'm sorry to say that CoS doesn't look that appealing to me though. I like all the users a lot, but I can't stand things that are fighting-based. I need a deep and intricate storyline. Does anyone recommend anything?

I agree that the CoS is good for first time RPers (Or RP vets such as myself).With all the rules and such they can learn the ropes of how to properly RP (In a way).But there are a few differences between all the RPs on this board.RPs such as Brawler's Tails and the High School are more story based and more social interaction then actually fighting, although there are quite a few fights and (Most of the time) they're not complete GM fests.BT and HS also aren't as custom character based as the rest.Then there's RPs such as the TIA and the Dojo.They're mostly Custom character based and involve even more social interaction then the previously mentioned RPs.I haven't been in many fights in those RPs so I can't really say to much about that.Although I've heard ZF mention there's a lot of Character development and story in the Dojo I can't say much about that either.

...anyhow...I'll look over various things, and try to think up characters and whatnot over the next few days...it might take me a really long time to make character designs...because I'm not that great at drawing things quickly and to draw at all to what I'd deem acceptable in black and white takes me hours and hours...and coloring...<_<
it would take a week, at the shortest

There's no need to draw a character.
Words can be almost as descriptive as a picture, if you're good enough.

My dojo is fun. If you want to fight, there is fighting. If you want to do some character development, there is character development. And if you want comedy, we have ILS and kitsune based humor.
And if there is anything you don't understand, we can explain it for you.
