This board seems to be dying down.  Why?  I don't know.  It seems like it though. 

I think we need to have Brawl Tournaments.  This is what the board is all about, and no one is really doing them.  It's bad. 

Also, make boards for Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, and other games.  At the top of each one can have a stickied topic of Wii Friend Numbers, PSN, and Gamertags, then we can talk about the games there.

Also, there should be a social board as there is and a comedy/random junk board.  Heavy stuff is good, Media is good too.  So on and so forth.

I guess my point is, we need to have more tournaments for Brawl, different boards, and more tournaments for other games too.

My two cents.  I have more ideas, but I must leave to work.

If we expanded the site (and this might not work if we only keep it focused on Brawl), than the tournaments would be easier to set up, and the place would be more active. We need to have some kind of incentive though.. a reason for people to join.

But most of us(Or at least I) don't want members from the SSBBSB here to screw this place over. <_<

If we get members from somewhere other than the SSBBSB, I'm fine with this.

If you guys can find something that will set this site apart from others sites (or as Unreal said, give people incentives to join), then that'll help.



You could also hold more discussions in the Heavy Stuff boards that really get things stirred up (abortion, death penalty, more stuff about racism, etc.)

For new boards, there could be a User Arena where people can challenge others to RP-style fights or fights in online videogames (if the game allows spectators, people could watch the fights....). We could organize the story boards a little better (there are far too many sub-boards in it). There could also be a competition board in which people try to beat high scores for certain games (photographic or video proof would be needed for such things, of course).

I would say that you should (and I know this sounds crazy, but....) allow some of those people form Gamefaqs to come here. If they come in and start some ****, then it won't seem so boring aorund here (also, the people who complain about the mods not doing anything would stop complaining because they would have more to do). I know this may seem stupid, yet when this place is supposedly becoming boring, what would be more exciting?

I've been thinkin' 'bout it....

I've been looking at alot of other sites and forums lately and I've got some ideas.... First off I'm planning on making a custom theme that sets us apart.... I've more ideas but I'll discuss them later.

I think I needed one more person to join.

But yeah, I want more tournaments, and specific boards for systems where we can have our online ID's tagged up top.  Then tournaments for that.  Something to bring this board more alive.

My tournament didn't fail, I just didn't feel like going through the hassle of bringing it back after I got my Wii repaired. If it weren't for that issue, it would have gone smo-

We can at least have the "separate boards for each system" thing. The other things can come down the line.

I like the reviews idea. I would contribute to that. All of these other ideas are great too.

I think an interesting thing to do (if it would ever be possible), would be to turn the site itself into kind of an RPG. Maybe when you get enough experience from contributing or posting or whatever (IF something like this is possible!), you could unlock special privelidges, but it would be bonus stuff, not stuff that you should have already like in GameFAQS where you have to level up. Again, this is just an idea.

That's actually an idea that doesn't make me sick to my stomach.

Seriously though, that would be sweet; RPGs are addictive and if the site takes on attributes of RPGs, then it'll become addictive as well.....soon, we'll be pushing Brawler's Paradise on the street...
