He's not that bad, I'm pretty sure he has the highest strength and endurance stats at least.

Aegis has the highest endurance, but his strength may be higher. His main problem is that all he has are offensive skills, between melee and very weak magic. Junpei also has the problem of having an awful weakness that is exploited constantly in the first half of the game. Aegis lacks magic, but she has a few better physical skills (namely Akasha Arts), She learns Diarahan and for all it's worth, learns Ma-buffs later on which "halp" against the normally very hard final boss.
He is pretty useful in The Answer, where his stats are extremely high and where he's the only unit who is very strong in melee combat. But he falls short in The Journey.

I really want to use Thor but Odin just completely outclasses him in almost every way. <_<

Thor has better resistances and it's easier to make him null physical attacks, and with Null Slash, Thor is completely invincible in the Stasis Giants fight. Though considering that Odin is the best persona in the game, for regular and long term use, Odin is infinitely better.

Thor is pretty much beaten out in anything he's good at by Odin, Siegfried, and Melchizedek, so I don't even use him anymore.
And I'm up to World Balance now, almost to Nyx's descent. D:

World Balance is pretty overrated in difficulty. On expert mode, he can be somewhat difficult, though he's perfectly manageable with a proper setup, kind of like the Sleeping Table. He's pretty crappy on normal, though.

World Balance is easy enough if you use personas with no weakness. Last time I tripped at the end though and he managed to kill me. <_<

Aren't you obsessed with leveling up all of your characters anyway? Under those terms, a party of Yukari, Aegis and Ken would destroy the Jotun, but try fighting him with only you and Aegis. :3 By the way, use Metis.

With keeping levels balanced yeah, but everyone is underleveled now and none of my partners know Mediarahan which is making Nyx Avatar really difficult. >_> I shall be grinding until I get that, then trying again. At least when I can play again, I'm busy right now.

If you want to be a cheap **** and make the job a bit quicker, you can...
- Give Odin every card you have. - Take on the Reaper. - Set your party on knock down. - Abuse Thunder Reign (100% chance of shock). - Have the rest of your party use normal attacks and decline every all-out attack. - Repeat until the Reaper dies.
If this is FES, this will unlock Monad, which is the ultimate location to grind. The generic encounters WILL be dangerous due to the fact that you're going to range between 25-30 levels of difference, so you will miss a lot. Still, it's easy to kill the enemies there, and they give immense amounts of EXP.
Of course, if no following character can attack before the Reaper gets its turn, grind until that changes.

I tried fighting the Reaper, my party was too slow so he moved immediately after I stunned him and killed everyone but me. <_<
Still, Mediaharan get, trying again.
