Well besides that it rarely comes up for me. Usually when I'm recruiting now they ask what I want, I say your life, and then they offer to join me if I don't kill them. <_<

Finished SMTII. Pretty easy game, but I did use an FAQ all the time to figure out where I'm going. <_< Thing is nothing was capable of dealing significant damage, so every boss fight was easy. Besides that, magic is worthless, so battles are pretty much nothing but attacking, which leads to using auto-battle a lot.

Final Party-

Also they really screwed up the apparently only time YHVH is ever going to be the final boss. Not only did he suck, but he got the same music all the other major bosses did. <_<

soundtrack is worse than xenosaga confirmed

I never did actually finish SMT II, mainly because I hated the interface as well. I liked the alignment idea despite how constricting it is, but the rest of the game was mediocre at best.

Alignments become completely irrelevant if you just stay Neutral at all times. Yeah, this is pretty easily the worst MegaTen game I've played.

Now to continue awaiting Strange Journey~

...even if the only reason why he hasn't finished the translation is because he can't.

I do not know the specifics, though I've heard from someone who has at one point tried to translate Soul Hackers who stated that he hit a brick wall of sorts in the process. He did not elaborate himself and there is always the chance of misinterpretation, but in the case that I didn't, I think the same thing halted Gideon.
