I dunno. Maybe it's just how P3's battle system was so boring. I really didn't just enjoy the game much at all. It was all subsumed by that.

P3's appeal was not found in its battle system, so if that's the only thing that you came in for, that's basically going to happen by default.

I know. It's just that for such a very large part of the game, it was rather boring. I enjoyed everything else, but combat really put a pallor over it.

Started Nocturne on Hard using a 2nd Cycle olo. Haven't gotten anywhere because of emulator failure though. I need to fix the settings for it to work again.

Until then, you could create a Baphomet by fusing two or three very low level demons.

While I didn't use either Lilim or High Pixie long enough to check, the "you must be six levels below the evolved monster" requirement has not changed for New Game+ as far as I know.
