There was a Charlie that died in Heroes too. Had the top of her head sliced clean off...

Charlie in Lost died in a more peaceful way Tongue

Too bad his death was in vain and he didn't even know it. He thought he was being a major help to everyone.  Cry

Charlie in Heroes died a pretty useless death too. If anything, her death was a major blow to everyone. She died so someone could have her pretty much useless power. And then Hiro tried to go back in time to save her, but he found out she had cancer and was going to die anyway. Hiro blamed himself for her death and lost his powers for a little while when he could have been out helping people.

That sucks :/

Charlie in Lost thought that sending a certain signal to these people and him dying (another person there has visions about him dying) would save the girl he loves and everyone else. It turns out though that the people coming to suppossedly help them aren't who they seem to be. It was stupid to because Charlie could have ran out the door and swam back to the surface of the island (one of the other's swam to the side of the room Charlie was in-they're in an underwater station- and made a grenade blow open the window, and instead of escaping Charlie locks himself inside and drowns himself because his death will save everyone- which turned out wasn't true)  Cry It's been a while since I saw the episode, so that's not all the details, but mainly that's it.

Yeah, Heroes has those occasional moments where the characters could have done anything else, but instead they do something stupid.

Most of these moments involve Sylar.

Sylar's the main bad guy of the first season. His power is to instantly see how things work so he can "fix" them. He has twisted this power so he can steal other people's abilities by looking at their brains and injecting some of their DNA into his (We've never seen how this is done, but it is hinted that he eats the brains). Through the season, he's gained Cryokinesis, Telekinesis, seeing the future, and a bunch of others. Apparently he also picked up the ability to make people retarded because that's how people act around him. He's been captured three times, each time they decide to keep him alive for study from which he inevitably escapes. He's been shot 4 times, each time he stops the bullet with telekinesis, one time he sent the bullets flying back at the person who shot him (Matt), and he's fought Peter (Sylar's equal) 4 times winning three times because Peter's was a dumbass and us never seeing the end of the fourth. He's also killed his mom and painted the future with her blood.

Well, on the plus side that's only one season to rent :/
on the down-side that adds into budget.
