So basically I'm trying to fight Samael with 45 handgun bullets, 5 rifle shells, 0 shotgun shells, and no health items. Plus my health is half full.
Fantastic.

late 4 spyro **** crap I've beaten Spyro 1 in six hours. >_>
Not an achievement, as I have too, assuming that you mean "got 100% in six hours." 911 is pretty much on the ball with his reasons why Spyro 2 and 3 are longer. Basically, all of the fringes of each level are side-quests rather than an ostensible detour that leads to a frozen dragon. also hey 911 got a copy of riptos rage that you can sell me i havent owned a copy of it in 6 years

You know, I have to wonder. If you had no ammo at this point, how would they expect you to fight this boss? It's flying, so I mean, it's not like the steel pipe or the axe will work wonders.
Thank god I have 45 handgun bullets and at least 5 rifle shells. Still, they should've at least included some ammo and health items right before the fight. It'd make this boss fight actually beatable. I literally die in one hit. I absolutely cannot be hit once in this boss fight, which is pretty much impossible given that his only attack is pretty much unavoidable. >_>
I looked up something online about strafing in circles and how you'll no matter what avoid the attack, but that's total bullshit.
Hmm...

Apparently if you have no ammo the game automatically defeats the final boss.

I think I may have been right when I said that previous part was meant to drive you insane then you would have just fired all your shots off in desperation before the boss

It's some flying demon. It's just in an empty dark room. It shoots lightning that kills me instantly.
Also I actually was able to try the no ammo trick. Didn't work. I died lol. I didn't save though.
I don't even remember which mode I'm doing anyways. I think it's hard, but I have no clue.

The idea of traditional bosses in a horror game just sounds silly to me.
I mean, a flying demon that shoots lightning? Is there any tension? Any actual fear aside from "if I don't dodge I'll die and have to start again"?
Also, I've been meaning to ask, what about this topic is sexy?

I'd rather have bosses than no bosses. It doesn't really detract from the game, although this might be an exception. >_>

Well I mean, boss like encounters and situations are one thing, but a traditional big boss enemy that you fight in a room like you would any other game sounds so anti-horror.

^ The bear from Condemned 2 is what I perceive as a true horror-game boss
