More spoilers Seriously, what the ****. Unless that monster stealth-killed Harry or age really took a toll on him, it's stupid. He beat up so much **** in Silent Hill so I mean...>_> Besides, Harry would probably have a gun lying around anyways. End
God I hate Claudia so much. She's like a stupid noob and you're an elitist veteran and she interferes and you're like "gtfo noob."

I agree, Harry should have gone out like a badass, not just killed offscreen as if he were just some obscure side character no-one cares about. Also, you sadly don't really get to fight Claudia.

Those cutscenes after that scene are making me very sad.

Oooh, I played a demo for this game. Are you at the part where there's a puzzle related to the phrase "fire purifies all" or something

I'm past it. I'm in the Alternate Hospital, and I came here to say that this place is easily the freakiest alternate setting I've been in so far, including those in the first Silent Hill.
Anyways, the "flame purifies all" puzzle was bizarre as hell. There was a chemistry textbook earlier in the game that said Hydrogen Peroxide and Manganese Dioxide produce Oxygen, which helps burn things. Well I found Oxydol which has the Hydrogen Peroxide. But then I got a match and, well, a liver. Apparently the you use all three. I knew I'd used the Oxydol with the matches, but together with the liver? I never would've gotten that had I not decided to **** around with the items in my inventory. >_>
There was another awesome puzzle here that involved numbers, but I don't really feel like transcribing the hint.

How do you get past that column of spinning meat and flesh?

You mean that monster on the first floor?
There's a fairy tale that talks about a priestess who died trying to persuade a monster to stop eating people. I remember that part of the fairy tale was directly after the flame puzzle. It doesn't finish though. You find the ending later on, where it talks about how God revived the priestess and she went back to kill the monster. She says something like "Tu fui, ego eris." Heather, reading this fairy tale, reads the incantation out loud and hears something. You go to the entrance and the monster is gone and you're done with that area.

You see, there's a spinning meat and flesh column in the entrance and you have to complete a fairy tale about a monster eating people to get it to vanish so that you can leave

Yeah, I got that. It just sounded kinda confusing at first, though that's just because I can't seem to remember it.

Wow, this game is really short if I beat it already. 7 hours. That's about half the length it took me to beat SH1.
Anyways, another amazing installment. Loved every bit of it.
The entire game I was actually terrified the final boss would end up being another SH1 thing. Anyways, I had like 79 handgun bullets and 64 SMG rounds and like 13 shotgun shells. Plus 4 ampoules and 1 first aid kit. I ended up using all my health items. Towards the end I think one more hit would've killed me, and I had no health. Plus I had virtually no handgun bullets left, so I was predicting I would die and planning what I'd to finally kill it. Turns out literally my last handgun bullet killed it. I would've used the shotgun but it was really slow and I kept missing with it for some reason. SMG also kinda sucked. >_>
But yeah, awesome game.

Floyd is the devil.
I SERIOUSLY DREAMT OF FLOYD BEING A KILLER CYBORG WHO RAN 10 TIMES FASTER THAN ANY NORMAL HUMAN, AND THEN KILLED MM, TURNED FEMALE, WENT AFTER ME, AND I DROPPED FROM THE SKYSCRAPER! IT HURTED, BUT I AWAKE CALMLY, THINKING I WOULDN'T SEE YOU AGAIN.
*no gold, just us*
