Mass Effect 2 felt way too formulaic, even moreso than Mass Effect 1. Its presentation was good, so it's fun in a less tangible kind of a way, but the actual standalone gameplay was lacking. Good game, but a far cry from game of the forever as many claim.

Lol I forgot that I owned Bioshock 2.

Since I won't be getting ME2 or F3 for a few days now, I think I'll play that in the meantime. And maybe Max Payne.

I'm trying to go in with a level head. I've heard mixed opinions.

Played the first hour or so. I'm enjoying it so far.

One improvement is hacking. I did enjoy hacking in the first game, but only for the first couple of times. Then it just got really tedious.

I'm also interested in the story, though I will admit something doesn't feel as genuine about it, and I don't want to say it's because Ken Levine isn't involved. Still, it seems intriguing so far.

I got a hold of Mass Effect 2 from a friend. Will probably play that instead now.

I like the squad in ME2 a lot more. Even Wrex > Grunt and Jack is lame, I feel more involved with them.

Grunt just has no...personality. It's annoying. I liked Jack, though.

She was fun. And she did it for the lulz.

Nope. But they were certainly better than scanning.

They were pretty annoying. Scanning isn't really that bad but I do feel like I'm wasting my time when I do it. Then again, I never really felt inspired by the Mako trips either. At least you can still visit planets with "anomalies" in ME2 too though.

interesting how uranus is depleted

Floyd is the devil.
I SERIOUSLY DREAMT OF FLOYD BEING A KILLER CYBORG WHO RAN 10 TIMES FASTER THAN ANY NORMAL HUMAN, AND THEN KILLED MM, TURNED FEMALE, WENT AFTER ME, AND I DROPPED FROM THE SKYSCRAPER! IT HURTED, BUT I AWAKE CALMLY, THINKING I WOULDN'T SEE YOU AGAIN.

Beat it. Probably put in around 35 hours for that game as opposed to the 20 in the first. Game was awesome. I liked it a lot more than ME1, even though ME1 was still good. And all my characters survived.

Legion is probably my favorite squad member.
