Silent Hill 1-3 is such a great first three games of a series, not a knock against SH4 but starting with that game was when things started going downhill until the embarrassment that was Homecoming and the death of the series that was Book of Memories.

Shattered Memories was great, but I don't consider it truly a real Silent Hill game.

I've been meaning to try Hollow Knight eventually, but there's been a lot of buzz about Dead Cells in a few of my circles and that's been starting to take my attention away from it.
yeah man, it's such a great series.

I really like SH4 for the kinds of ideas it has. The MC is a total blob of the character, but the story and lore has a lot of interesting things going on. However, I think it was probably the scariest Silent Hill game. I had a much scarier experience with SH1 given that it was my first horror game, but I don't think I would've been able to finish SH4 if that was my first one instead. Had a lot of flaws, but I still respect it for what it was.

I never played SM, but I remember Floyd and I kept talking about playing that at the same time. Maybe one day.

Also I got RDR2 and it's a very pretty game.

This game really does bring back memories of playing through RDR1. I feel like I'm playing that game all over again. Absolutely loving it.

Done with it for real now. RDR2 might be my favorite game this generation. Don't know what else there is to say about it.

actually I kind of want to try the C-sides after all this, since apparently they're short

Done with Chapter 5, but I haven't gotten to its B-side yet. So far all of the B-sides have been super fun and the remixes have been so great, except for Chapter 4. So far, this might be one of my favorite indie games, although I don't think I've really played a lot.

Celeste was one of those games I never tried because on the onset it doesn't really stick out much since retro indie platformers are such a dime a dozen these days.

Still not sure I'd buy since I don't have much time to spare for other games.

I'd say it stands out because it's actually good. Also I beat Chapter 5's B-side and that was definitely my favorite one.

ok, I will preface this by saying that I love CV and I love that simon and richter are in this game

but holy shit every time I play someone who uses them, it ends up being a huge spamfest. it's just so unpleasant, and it also makes me sad that I'm getting mad at CV characters

Floyd is the devil.
I SERIOUSLY DREAMT OF FLOYD BEING A KILLER CYBORG WHO RAN 10 TIMES FASTER THAN ANY NORMAL HUMAN, AND THEN KILLED MM, TURNED FEMALE, WENT AFTER ME, AND I DROPPED FROM THE SKYSCRAPER! IT HURTED, BUT I AWAKE CALMLY, THINKING I WOULDN'T SEE YOU AGAIN.
