its been forever since I've seen it. I was watching adultswim, and that show Cowboy Bebop came on (this was also the first time I've ever seen it, it was pretty cool, other than the fact that the name of the episode was a reference to an Aerosmith album...), and it was pretty much a huge reference to Alein.

I love that movie so much, the silence and the claustrophobic feel of it never cease to make me feel terrified almost, and the creature design is simply perfect.

I have Aliins (which I like more) on DVD, but I've seen it a lot more than Alien.

Floyd is the devil.
I SERIOUSLY DREAMT OF FLOYD BEING A KILLER CYBORG WHO RAN 10 TIMES FASTER THAN ANY NORMAL HUMAN, AND THEN KILLED MM, TURNED FEMALE, WENT AFTER ME, AND I DROPPED FROM THE SKYSCRAPER! IT HURTED, BUT I AWAKE CALMLY, THINKING I WOULDN'T SEE YOU AGAIN.

Alien was sweet; it's interesting how both Alien series and the Terminator series each had movies that were good, yet had even better sequels.

I just recently watch both movies and they have stood the test of time; once you see films such as these, you realize the shockingly high number of references to them there are in other media.

James Cameron worked on Aliens and the Terminator series, so that might be why.

and yes, the references to Alien/Aliens is staggering. The Halloween episode of ZIM has two of them.

RE4 has one (Luis getting it), that Lice episode of Zim had one (The Delouser woman saying "Close your eyes, baby"), and of course Conker's Bad Fur Day.

the whole episode of Lice was essentially a reference to Aliens. In the Halloween ep, Zim is barricading his house for fear of trick-or-treaters, and he pulls out a tracking device that is literally the exact same one used in Aliens. Also, GIR wears an Alien costume in the intro of the ep.
