I watched a lot of Korean movies lately.
The Housemaid - really melodramatic and dumb but I enjoyed it.
Thirst - guilty pleasure. It was dumb and campy but I liked it.
Memories of Murder - this one was actually really good and I wouldn't feel awkward recommending it to people
The Handmaiden - I've seen quite a few Park Chan-wook movies and this was my favorite.
I think I'm done with these kinds of movies for now. I've seen a bunch of Korean thrillers a long time ago. They're all fu
cked up.
I don't know what it is about vampire movies that unsettles me. I've dissected cadavers, and I can watch movies like Saw. But movies like Thirst and Let the Right One In make me feel very light-headed.
Oh yeah I saw these movies on a plane recently.
The English Patient - boring af how did I sit through all of this and why did I decide to watch it to begin with
Psycho - yeah
Unforgiven is next I think. I also want to watch 3 Idiots despite my general aversion towards Bollywood films.
