Too bad that's not the thing about it.
It shows that even the most innocent kid could become a vile, detestable asshat with no redeeming values. The show does its best to make you HATE that damn kid, which is a form of excitement. If something excites you, then you have a hidden little bond for whatever it is that excites you, and if you follow through with the intention of the show, then it means they did their job well.
That doesn't mean the show was good. >_>
Besides, wasn't he really nice in the manga adaption or something?
It's an adaptation of a visual novel. In the VN he could be an **** or not depending on what you did.
