Started reading Blade of the Phantom Master. It seems pretty good. Am planning on avoiding the movie though.
Great Teacher Onizuka has been a little repetitive, but that's not really a problem honestly. It's still a great show. I might check out the other stuff ESH mentioned.
I've been avoiding Serial Experiments Lain for a while. I wasn't quite interested in watching something confusing, but after reading about the kinds of themes it presents, I'm more interested. Might watch sometime.

I love how hilariously bad some the voice acting is in GTO, minus Onizuka who's randomly perfect.
It makes the show more endearing.

You're watching the dub because it's bad? Well I can't argue with that logic but I hope it doesn't ruin some of the better parts. Also Steve Blum is probably my favourite English VA, not enough to watch a dub but when I've heard his stuff he's always been excellent. |

I'm not watching it because it's bad. I'm saying it's bad, but it doesn't bother me. It's very old school bad. The girls in particular are funny. But it adds to the show ironically.
It's not like the same kind of bad as Higurashi's dub.

Next anime movie will probably be Nausicaa. Lately I've gone through a streak of absolutely wonderful movies, so hopefully it'll keep up the pace. I hear nothing but wonderful things about it.

It's actually kind of dark for a Miyazaki movie...by which I mean it's more Princess Mononoke than it is Kiki's Delivery Service.
Also, the manga was even darker.
