School Rumble doesn't really shove it in your face. It's based on romance, but I'd just as much of it is comedy, which is great. School Days, now there's a show that shoves it down your throat and rips it out of your ass. |

Too bad that's not the thing about it.
It shows that even the most innocent kid could become a vile, detestable asshat with no redeeming values. The show does its best to make you HATE that damn kid, which is a form of excitement. If something excites you, then you have a hidden little bond for whatever it is that excites you, and if you follow through with the intention of the show, then it means they did their job well.
