I'm on episode 14, so I have no idea what the hell Bogus Booty is.

Spring, you were right. Bogus Booty was pretty much fantastic.

It was indeed a fine episode.
Let me know when you see Elegy of Entrapment pt.1. The episodes between this one and that one are good, but...that one has my favorite ending to any episode of the series. Watch Elegy of Entrapment pt. 1 in Japanese with subs.

There's a single line that is given with a certain effect that makes the response, and ultimately the entire scene much more badass.
If you haven't been watching it in Japanese so far, I'd suggest watching the next few in Japanese just to get used to it. If you can't get access to the subbed version, it's not that big of a deal, but do so if you can. When I re-watched it subbed, it was really awesome.
War of the Words is a really awesome episode as well.

Suffice it to say that if you haven't watched Samurai Champloo, there's no reason you shouldn't.
NONE.

What episode is Elegy of Entrapment?

Spring-Loaded

It's after Unholy Union (the one about Christianity in Japan), the earliest and most main-story-driven episode
