That's true, which only makes me question how twisted I am for actually supporting her. Maybe it's just a matter of protagonist vs. antagonist and I just support whoever is the protagonist (which in the first arc is arguably Balalaika, unless you want to go to the whole sympathy argument for the kids). I did feel bad for both of them when they died though, especially the girl or boy, or...whatever. The one who the dad killed at the end. All in all, that arc in general was the most disturbing one.
