The trick to the hallway is holy water and knowing that the medusa heads fly in the same pattern as long as you don't move the screen |

oh yeah, holy water totally saved my ass on multiple occasions
I think I wanted to try doing it without holy water at some point, but I promptly gave up that idea. CV1 is impossible. CV3 looks even worse.
