First of all, the entire concept of devoting a block of time to something shows more of an obligation than a will to actually watch something. It may be justified to an extent if you're a chronic procrastinator, but even then you may just be forcing yourself to watch it with the sole intent to get to the end rather than to enjoy the content.
Second, it's really depressing how anime seems to be your only hobby. >_>

I CAN'T DENY THAT A LARGE PART OF MY MOTIVATION TO WATCH ANIME IS MERELY TO HAVE WATCHED IT, BUT I STILL ENJOY IT. AND THE ALLOTTED TIME IS MORE BECAUSE AT ANY TIME OTHER THAN THE ALLOTTED TIME PEOPLE ARE AWAKE AND ACTIVE IN THE HOUSE MAKING IT SO I CAN'T GET FULLY ENGROSSED IN IT AND THERE'S THE POSSIBILITY OF BEING WALKED IN ON DURING FANSERVICE.
YEAH, IT IS PRETTY SAD.

Well, at least the justification over having company who sort of devour the background and wreck the mood is plenty valid, especially in the company of people at ages ranging from teens to late 20's. Hence why unless if what I'm focusing on is more of a joke or has a mood much like say, Gurren Lagann, I prefer to be alone when watching whatever or playing whatever.
