"How was the flight?" SA2 asked as he approached.
"Not bad. I've had better. Yours?" Floyd responded.
"Fine. Lets get to work, shall we?"
"After you."
SA2 nodded and returned to his team. He briefly went over the objective, which was to assess the situation and sterilize the installation if necessary. After the breifing, Beta Squadron got into postition. Floyd made a quick hand motion and Alpha Squadron followed suit. Choro, Beta Squadron's recon expert, approached the massive door way that served as the only entrance for the installation. Floyd assumed that it was so large in order to fit machinery, vehicle, and other such things inside, because he saw nothing of that nature around the perimeter of the building. Choro went to work on the computer access pannel, and within seconds, the door slowly opened, its two massive metallic plates being drug away from each other in order to allow access. DB moved in first, wielding a massive minigun.
"All clear." He called out after checking the installation. All the members of each squad moved into place, checking for any signs of life.
Strange, Floyd thought. We were told we would need to enter for ourselves, but not that this place would be empty... "Alright Unreal, Judge, standard recon. If you find anyone who claims they're in charge here, send them back here, this is base camp. Ing, help me set up."
Ing was already at the chooper, moving equipment to the new base camp location. SA2 made similar orders, having Bizzle assist Ing and Choro and DB going of to other areas of the base for recon. Salty and Ahriman, the anime expert who was assigned by the brass to Beta Squadron, met and began discussing things. Floyd could hear snippets of the conversation, but their talk of giant robots and other such things didn't interest him in the least.

Base camp was set up and recon parties would be returning in a few moments. Floyd sat back on a chair and waited. Things were running smoothly, and hopefully they would continue to run this way throughout the mission. However, there was a nagging feeling in his gut that suggested otherwise. Maybe it was the absence of any personnel in the installation. Or maybe it was something beyond that. Fanservice... where have I heard that word before? Floyd thought. It seemed to be in his mind, but he couldn't exactly grasp it. Oh well, its probably just my imagination.

Floyd is the devil.
I SERIOUSLY DREAMT OF FLOYD BEING A KILLER CYBORG WHO RAN 10 TIMES FASTER THAN ANY NORMAL HUMAN, AND THEN KILLED MM, TURNED FEMALE, WENT AFTER ME, AND I DROPPED FROM THE SKYSCRAPER! IT HURTED, BUT I AWAKE CALMLY, THINKING I WOULDN'T SEE YOU AGAIN.
*no gold, just us*
